The GS150 is miles behind the Unicorn in resale valuation. Quite why this is so is perplexing, considering that the GS is as good if not better than the Unicorn on most counts. The second hand market's valuations are determined by the brokers, whose math and analytical skills are not exactly their strongest points.

It works thus: whichever bike has a lengthy booking period (for whatever reasons), commands a high resale value. This instigates the masses to go for the said bike with high resale value, increasing demand. The result of this self-perpetuating myth is the almost mythical status accorded to bikes such as the Unicorn when people unilaterally join in praise of its pluses ignoring its weaknesses.

In the more evolved stage, the same weaknesses become what is called "character". At this stage it becomes blasphemy to pick faults with the bike.

The GS150 is a good bike. If resale matters to you, go for a CBZ (the new one looks hideous).

          Dazzler is your Medicine.

Just close your eyes and get one, its the perfect one to fit all your requirements.

Yes the Unicorn and GS150R are also closer too.

GS150R is actually a tad better than the Uni IMHO, with a large fuel tank and the 6th gear. But Suzuki sucks in terms of Service and Spares (not that you'd need them soon). If you've got a Suzuki Service Centre nearby, go for it eyes closed. Even hardcore Uni lovers would need to agree that the console of the GS150 is the most beautiful one around, not that this is a deal breaker, however, looks do matter
In terms of resale value, the GS150R is the "Ford Ikon" of the bike world.

Thanks it is Apache 160. but i heard in high speed (above 60) vibration is an issue, but i am not sure. another issue is i feel length of this bike is bit small , it's totally my view.

@testdrive : You have a lengthy list in hand, please test drive all the bikes and come with final list based on your experience (remove 1/2 of them from the list). Settle for a 150cc bike as you have been driving 125cc all these years, keep slingshot out of your list (honestly it is the best in 125cc segment)

FYI, Uni is worth waiting, GS is worth buying and CBZ/Hunk falls in between, check out the all new CBZ Xtreme it's value for money bike considering many feature additions. CBZ Xtreme/Hunk/GS/Uni/Dazzler all would fetch b/w 45-55kmpl and not necessarily above 50 kmpl all the time.

As per above your suggestions i have shortlisted my options.

My height is 5.9 i have forgot to add this.

                              1) Suzuki GS150 (Thinking)
Issue is service, i am in Pallikarai, chennai i didn't find nearby service station. So this is my major concern.

                              2) Honda Unicon (hold)
I have inquired in showroom seems they closed booking. They are not sure, when they will reopen booking. This is because of existing booking/delivery. (Still searching for other dealers. Unicon doesn't have digital display )

                              3) Pulsar 150 (hold)
I like it but, in log run above 40/50 km engine noise will be a big issue. i felt it in my discover. i hope this applies for Pulsar too, am i wrong?

                              4) Pulsar 135 (hold)
VFM package. My wife feels split seat/rear seat is bit higher side. also same Bajaj engine issue mention for 150. I felt Seats are very hard. Look is nice and my wife is OK with this)

5)FZ (Fight between heart and Brain => hold)
I love it's design. and new version is comes with kick start that is good to know. my heart says go with this. but my mind is still sits with Millage. and still big fight is going on with my heart and brain let see who wins
Is selecting FZ is good deal?

Is my list now make sense?

                              Regards,
                              TestDrive.
