Hello Ashok, Welcome to xBHP

Absense of a Kick Starter is not a big deal on most bikes. These bikes can always be push-started if the battery dies and so you are never stranded. So as long as you don't find anything fundamentally wrong with the Dazzler, please keep it in contention.

Since Hunk fits your requirements perfectly, I would recommend you get the Hunk.

P135 is a nice little bike and should consistently return better FE no.s than the others in your shortlist.

Finally, now that I have properly confused you, I would suggest that you take Test Rides of all 3 and decide. For the rest of your doubts, I leave it for the respective bike owners to comment.

after reading a lot of ownership threads and reviews here at xbhp I finally shortlisted dazzler, hunk, P135 as my choice
...

I own Hunk and one of my close friend owns a p135 ,so I think I can help you out

HH Hunk(one of the most underrated bike in its segment) :

Positives:
-Refined engine
-Stability at high speed
-Sporty position(when compared with dazzler)
-Second best looking bike in its segment(after fz),But IMO its the best

-Very reliable (Typical Hero bike)
-Very comfortable due to GRS suspension

Negatives:
-Slower when compared with bikes like apache
-Heavy but nimble once the bike starts moving
-Fuel efficiency is not as good as unicorn
-spares are expensive
-front brakes and not confidence inspiring,rear disk is from nissin so its better than front brakes(Read somewhere)

Pulsar 135:

Positives:
-Value For Money
-High revving 4valve engine
-Fast enough to make 150cc bike run for their money
-Cheap spares
-consistent mileage
-Handles well
-Light and nimble

Negatives:
-Needs more care (But not unreliable)
-Not refined like Honda
-Gets the award for the most uncomfortable pillion seats

-I found the suspension to be bit hard

If you:
1. have a budget of less than 1 lakh.
2. are a 'speed' maniac.
3. want a performance bike (have to compromise on mileage then),

y don't you go for the P220? It has oodles of power within your budget that will satisfy your 'speed' requirements!
Regarding P135 - since its launch, there has hardly been any worthwhile modifications made to it, actually none. It cannot be even called 'an old wine in a new bottle'! The feel is of like a CD Dawn - very light. but also very fast. Mileage you can expect around 60 max. if ridden sanely.

I own the Hunk 2012 and as someone pointed out, it is one of the most underrated bikes around. The handling is superb and incomparable to any of the bikes of its class. It has got a big bike feel to it despite it becoming amazingly easy to flick through traffic or tour long distances once it comes to life. Mileage you can expect around 50. But I get 55 (one of those rare ones who manage to extract a good mileage from the Hunk!) It is a pretty powerful bike, pulls great at any speeds but has a low top end (its only 'disadvantage' - if you want to call it one).

while thinking abt pulsar I am quite confused

.. I hear that pulsar engine wear out easily, not refined and have low life!! is it true?

These are things generally you hear from people who don't own Pulsars, if you have doubts on that, ownership threads are a very good place to post queries. Besides, do you really think that a bike can be best seller in segment for such a long time if it's engine is going to wear out in two years??

Both of get similar mileage,around low 40's

Most of my commuting trips are very short(engine need to heat-up to give the optimal mileage) so I always get low mileage figures .My friend rides like a maniac

so his P135 returns the same mileage as mine.

Come on man if pulsars are so unreliable, how do u think they are selling 5 million?
With your budget I would say pick the one with the maximum power. The motorcycle market is undergoing quite a change, so get a powerful bike so u won feel outdated soon. P220 is the answer for your power requirements. Test ride it, go through the ownership thread you will fall in love with it. Dont forget the easy availabilty of spares and a wide service network.

If you want aslo consider the ZMA (Personally I am not inclined)

P.S I had been driving a 2004 pulsar 180 till last month, I still love the bike and the power it churned.

ZMA (ZMR) I hear unavailability of spares (also high cost) and service!!

ZMA is a proven tourer but I feel it is outdated now, so am not recommending it. Regarding unavailablity of spares and service check ownership thread for a true pic!

here are my expectations

1) stylish
2) good performance and mileage - I know If I want performance then i have to compromise mileage. what I need is at-least a decent mileage or a balance between two.
3) Bike and Engine stability at higher speed - I am a sort of speed maniac..

I initially gone for FZ series since I am a Yamaha fan

but due to their worst mileage (many claims 30-35 Kmpl) and stress in engine at higher rpm (which concerns me most) I finally dropped off the stylish giant

after reading a lot of ownership threads and reviews here at xbhp I finally shortlisted dazzler, hunk, P135 as my choice

Dazzler - Everything is perfect - Engine refinement, mileage but It have got no kick starter. Will that be a major problem??

P135 - competitor in 150CC from 135CC category, +point is 4 Valve Engine, best in performance but what I hear at ownership thread is the bike have got many problems like oil leakage, vibrations, low mileage.

Hunk - I don't know much about since I don't like HH but it has got all I need.

other Pulsar - I hear a lot that pulsar engines are not refined and life is too low..??

this makes me more confused while going for pulsar. please tell me if I am wrong..

also please mention other bikes which matches ...

Just sharing my experience, I also own a Hunk 2011 done 14k, without any prob. done many long drives, around 400km in a day with pillion, it performs very well, while long drives you does not feel bad what you paid for hunk, getting mileage of around 50, I always get max 53-57 when I drive very constantly on 40-50, so mileage must not be your concern, rest depend on your riding style, it gives a big bike feel, very good handling i must say, service is become good after it become 'Hero' from 'Hero Honda' (personal experience), spare is not so expensive, but easily available, I like the riding posture too, Just one thing is I am not satisfy with front disc brake.

I must say, if you have 1L budget, go for P220, I also liked it very much, I could not buy it because of my tight budget.

Do test drive all, then decide.
