i heard that pulsar 200NS will be giving a mileage of 56kmpl and will be at RS. 85000 something.. so is it true..?? if yes then i guess it might be worth waiting..

and if no then i am going for a test drive of RTR160 this weekend..
that's company claimed mileage tested under ideal conditions.real world mileage is bound to vary.
the price is yet to be announced.
one thing rtr 180 is overall better product than 160 so rather consider 180 over 160.
and the question remains why do i race?

I am glad to tell you that i am planning to buy a new bike. As I am a novice in biking and have no knowledge about any bike so please help me choosing my bike. I shall be very thankful to you.

        My REQUIREMENTS are:

        1. Budget- Max. Rs. 85000
        2. Average- My father said he wants 50 kmpl atleast.
        3. I am 22 years old 5' 10" not fat not thin.
        4. The main thing i want is "SPORTY LOOKS". (but also the mileage because of my father)
        5. Bikes with digital meter will be preferred (because it looks very nice to me atleast)
        6. I don't know about the CC factor much. So that is not a problem even a 100 CC bike can be good in looks (SPORTY obv.)

I have seen some bikes such as Pulsar 135LS, Stunner, Dazzler etc but no idea about them whatsoever.

Guys I am planning to buy a bike this month so please help me as soon as possible.

        Thank you in advance.
Sporty looks, under 85K and 50kmpl mileage. You can blindly go for all new Yamaha FZ16. Its a wonderful bike you'll love to ride in the city, no other bike can match it. Read some of the expert reviews...have a test drive and decide.

        Uppi.

fz is one bike with unpredictable mileage figure,i have seen fz returning fe figure like a sbk.
i guess with sane riding you can expect 40kmpl.
fz-16 is plain-jane fz,fz-s is fz with front visor,a bit attractive colour scheme, fazer is fz with semi-fairing,twin headlamps, and dual horn.
