a big no to fz (any make).. The tyres are not made for that purpose. A little sand or pebbles on the road.. It loses all its control and the tyres also develops cracks on regular rough road usage.
You are probably thinking too much in the off road direcrion. All indian bikes take on rough roads quite well (except fz).
Choosing a bike as per its cost, mileage, power, your height and weight, comfort and for any other feature like looks etc should be considered by you..
I would suggest a gs150r.. If your requirements are general/usual.
