what say?! regarding maintanence, handling in traffic, quality, and looks??
Why are you not considering FZ-S it's a great looker and handler in city.
In all the above aspects FZ beats Pulsar.
Fazer is more of a tourer version of it.
    Suzuki GS150R(Balck) 2009- 2012
Yamaha R15 V2(LE white) 2012 and Honda Dio V2 Matte

Handling in traffic, I believe you are better off with P180, certainly the huge quarter fairing of fazer wouldn't allow you to cut through the traffic. P180 scores a point or two in the performance dept. over Fazer.
even though the fazer has fairing, its less heavy than pulsar 180 right?!
so i felt it was a better choice!! was i wrong?!

the only reason i didn't consider fz is the bike looks very small(except the fuel tank) and i look big. it doesn't suit me! but fazer with the twin lamp and fairing gave a nice look and also came to know that fazer's handle bars were a little wider! btw is the fairing a real problem?!

        Hey Kannan,

As you said your budget is around 1L then why not 200NS. It's 99k on road price in mumbai.

It's a futurastic bike and with good technology and riding for city is awesome too and a good tourer !!!

it will give you a 40kmpl.

And from your above choice.....P180 is better choice as per your height and superb bike too. more better than FZ in terms of size and your height!!

        But do tink over200NS

i went to the best bajaj dealer in chennai and enquired about 200ns. they said it might reach by end of june! and that was also not sure!! and the initial production of 200ns is very very less so the bike will be delivered in priority wise! booking charges are 10k and they can't be sure about the colour too. also they said, its 200cc with 23.5 bhp (which is more power than flagship) so the mileage range would be 30-35 in city

Don't worry for delivery you will get it soon!! Here in mumbai it has hit every showroom. and even waiting period is only 20-30days.

30kmpl-35kmpl is too less for bajaj product. Bajaj focuses on mileage too else even they would have given NS200 25 bhp like Duke !!

but still it's your choice !!

BTW my opion is to buy new in monsoon as bike is new it will handle the monsoon very well and engine heat would be taken care by rains..lol..

Why on earth will it be 1.10 lacs in TN?
On road price declared is 94k. Plz check the news section.

3 years is a good amount of time. This product is fully VFM and who knows the touring bug may hit you as well. Though its not meant for touring (Naked Sport), but I've seen people tour on the FZ.

200NS is supposed to be priced 5k more OTR than P220F. See if that fits your budget. If it doesn't, go ahead with your other choices.

Being 18 years old, I would suggest not to opt for any high powered and heavy bike. Its always good to proceed step by step than directly jumping in to something for which you are not ready yet.
Pulsar 180/200NS, R15, CBR150R etc demands little maturity, experience and patience from the rider (which I think no one has got at the age of 18). Other wise they can turn in to mean machines...
I am at all not saying that you are not matured for these bikes but experience does matter, at least in India where thousands of vehicle runs on the road and hundreds of people ride with out caring about others life. One should go for such bikes only after the age of 21 years and after ridding some low or medium powered bike for some time, irrespective of whether you can afford them or not.
Now its completely understandable that riding 100 cc bike wont entertain the biking enthusiast inside you, I would suggest following options
1.Stunner - looker with decent power
                            2.Pulsar 135/150 - looker with decent/good power
3.Yamaha SZ - good power and performance

In 3-4 years of time there would be lot more options for you to choose from when you would be more experienced and will able to riding more
                            I believe I can fly...

you may be right on one part!! but i have been riding 110cc vehicle for 2 yrs and regarding and i also drive polo. so i do have the road sense and control. but when it comes to maturity i admit. whenever i see someone on the road going fast, i would try to overtake them and drive rashly.....and then feel i acted stupid. and you are said
"riding 100 cc bike wont entertain the biking enthusiast inside you" yeah you are right. and thats the reason i opted for pulsar 150, but maaannny people said u get more feature like
                                1 down 4 up gear
                                better seating position
                                wider rear tyres
                                better disc brakes
                                and few minor details
which all are at an extra 3k. so i landed up in Pulsar 180
then came in the Pulsar 200ns :P and still in dilemma!!
