I've no say!!! No license & riding for 2 years; hope your Parents fall into the 99% of Indian Parent's category!!!

In india the license age is still followed from the 1988 act which is really sick and leads to breaking the law if the law is upto date u never need to break it
ROTFL!!! You're venturing into ground 0 like most of us have undergone before; we're here to share our knowledge so as everyone learns & avoid the same mistakes as ours, but, a few deliberately choose to learn from their own mistakes

    Keep it up

PS - Do you've a friend who can match up FZ to a GT650R? If so, pls pass on the contact
Jus want to let u know dat i am havin a TD on tuesday for R15 v2 . Will share the exp soon . I love the way FZ feels and i personally think tat the chassis of FZ is capable of pullin a 250cc even though yamaha is yet to launch the 250cc engines .

Don't know what to say on this, i myself started it well before when i was just 8-9yrs old.

We can't stop this trend anytime, because now kids are getting more towards fast life, they don't want to go by auto instead if their feet touches ground form a two wheeler then they start learning or borrowing it.

Best example is ulhasnagar near kalyan, mostly 11-15yrs teenagers are seen riding two Wheeler.
But still i would say ride only after proper licence and fair maturity to handle the road rides.

Still there many mature individuals on roads which suddenly start racing when they see me overtaking them or any other one else. Why to race?? If you wanna go fast then enjoy your ride instead of competing with other fellow rider. When few guys with their GF suddenly encourage me to race then specially i ride at 20-40kmph. They might be think what crap rider am I ? But i don't want him to racing with me. Racing and speed is something which person understands after practical yrs of experience of riding. I have seen many accidents and i don't want to be one of the reason anytime!!

@TS if you have owned a 2-3 bikes earlier that doesn't mean you should go ahead with same!! I guess you are riding parents bike!! rather than personal bike. Anyways you won't listen to anyone of us here! no offence!!
First one was dad's which was a Karizma R . I had an accident and he Gave me a Aviator since then for an year now . Now he is ready to get me a bike thinkin i am responsible

Street riding means FZ nothing matches upto it. Duke etc are better but the price isn't justified for a street bike.

IS this about the UCE engines?? CL/TBTS/Elctra/STB UCEs??? or CL500??

            Which one??
AFAIK new RE's are more reliable then previous ones. If it's serviced regularly and Maintained in right manner then RE is a no problem bike! And surely RE is not for Speed. TS needs Speed. And he don't have a license too.
I guess we should encourage on license part rather suggesting bikes now!!

I am getting my licence in a week or two . I am 18 for the least

And now i am lookin at RE also but speed is a major concern . Even an Aviator can defeat RE cl350 upto 60

Not with 300 kilos of payload climbing hills, it cant.
My bike does 72 Km/H at 5K revs in top gear but my friend's RE does 115 Km/H at 5K in top gear(even though it vibrates like crazy)
The road presence is something that cannot be matched by any bike!
The bike's USPs are the monstrous torque figure and the ageless design.

my cousin owns a thunderbird 2011 and al his friends are re fans ,and they tell me if you want to get an re ,get it but should love it like a wife,u cannot leave it alone uncovered as there are tiny nuts and bolts which could start rusting.
another major problem with the newer re [incl 350]are oil leak from the engine compartments..

bro please get your license first and put safety first before speed .
i guess driving a RE could be like driving a rollroyce {i am not comparing the two and i never said comfort is the same }you donot take the rollsroyce and start revving it and drive it aggressively, you take it slow through the streets and anyone would notice it far more than even a speeding ferrari does..! thats the way you drive it !

RE is surely not for Speed!! First get this! RE is only for touring with peace of torque and comfortable ride!! Speed is something which doesn't relate to RE at any sense. You are a speed freak so RE is strickly no to you. Go with other options. Sounds good that atlast you will hold a license in few days!

Decide your ride first ?? R15 is exceptionally different from RE. New UCE engine runs easily 100kmph and even thye cloack arounf 110-115kmph which i have seen on Classic. RECL500 i have seen it at 130kmph also.

Decide your ride style, Speed is in every bike apart from RE. 1.3L is a nice budget too. Go NS200 if you want speed over 130kmph.. you will save around 30k !!

Are you kidding P200NS/Duke 200 offer you almost double the power & oodles of torque with marginally lesser mileage and that's a compromise any body will have to make if they are going for a 200cc machine over a 150cc machine. But pricing is not justified?? not sure whatelse you expect in that price or is it that you are saying FZ is good enough for TS?
