i would suggest you Discover 100.Though it seems bajaj has an upgrade in its hands soon. I would Put it like this,

    1.Discover 100
    2.CD Delux
    3.Honda Dream

Hero CD Delux, due to the self start and better looks than the Splendour and cd dawn.
HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

      I Purchased Bajaj Boxer 150

      Hi All,

Thanks for all your responses. Special thanks to MHG for explaining the need of Self start in these times. It was a very difficult situation for me to decide between CD Dawn and Boxer 150. Finally i did a test ride of Boxer 150 and found it much better in pickup (ofcourse its 150 cc. No complaints on CD Dawn though). Also the chaasi of Boxer looked very roboust. Apart from all these i coudnt overcome my liking towards boxer and i left no options for my myself other than buying it.

I got delivery same day. I got it from Tumkur(60 kms from Bangalore, Karanataka) Akshaya Bajaj. Onroad price including every thing was 50,085.
I could see some more coustomers doing a test ride of boxer, but i dont know if they have gone for it. I am a novice biker, i enjoyed riding it,pulled effortlessly myself and my father.Drove speeds less than 60 as adviced by showroom guys(till first service).

I will post my experiences or problems if i face any with this bike. Once again thanks for this forum and every one who took some time to help me.

Congrats brother on your new bike. The Boxer 150 is majorly an export oriented product and so is not marketed as widely in India. But that said, it is a super-hit product in Africa. Noting the merits of the bike (robust rear suspension, long saddle, load carrying capacity + optimizations, self start, all essential kit pre-included) you made an extremely smart decision by going for one.

@Others, this is a classic example how we should first look at requirements AND budget and only then start pouring in our valuable suggestions. If a person is looking at bikes in the 45-55k price range, is there any use in suggesting him bikes in the 60-68k price range (eg. D125ST, D150, P135LS, Dream Yuga, Gladiator which are obviously priced much above the *allocated budget*). Nnjamadagni was obviously looking for a workhorse (looking at his initial options) and thats what he eventually picked.

Finally, think before suggesting. This section is not about which bike you like best. Its more about which bike fits all the requirements best.
