Well, your sources are wrong, check the official tech spec pages of these bikes.. they both tip the scales at 129kg.Originally posted by abhi7013 View PostNope. From my sources it says its from 116kgs to 126kg. The difference is between kick and that of self.. You are talking as if bike will ride over you !!Originally posted by kds1980 View PostHmm I f I am not wrong both stunner and ignitor are 129 kg kerb weight
Why in so double mind?? Any bike may it's a RE or 100cc boxer both when tilted will show sign of Body Building!! But same when ridden at even 20kmph won't make you stress from any side to handle it!!
Don't worry on those terms, Ignitor is best now, else SlingShot!!
SZr is one of the good average bikes, but if your bro gets an average of 35-35kmpl which is the worst average ever heard dudeOriginally posted by kds1980 View PostAlready Have Yamaha Szr in home and not at satisfied with mileage .My brother use to drive 90 km day on average of 30-35 kmpl.

People are getting from 50-60kmpl.... I guess your bro use to rip it like no tomorrow!!
average is more of your concern so leave the looks and go for best average and SVC bike...

A Discover 100/125 would fit your bills perfectly. You will get good mileage and descent handling and easy spares. It has a good top end as well.
TVS Sports looks much better, with more or less same fuel economy, but its unstable past 60 kmph on Highways.
Hayate too looks very good, and Suzuki's reliability is expected to be better.Better clarify on the milege part.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

I truely agree with somen. Once you switch the engine on and start to move, you don feel its weight. The engine takes care of that. Every bike. Only problem would be in parking. Which i do not think will come in a bike like ignitor weighin 129kgs. Looks wise its better than any bike in this 125cc segment. Thats what i think.ZMR- PGMFI re-defined

I am amazed to see that no one here mentioned Pulsar 135ls as an option, its a light weighted bike with sporty looks, has power & return decent mileage as well..is there any specific reason not to consider that bike?Suzuki Gixxer - Current

Aah! So #1 is the reason why I found Discover 100 miles ahead in comfort levels though both the bikes had seats that could fit only half my a$$Originally posted by antz.bin View PostI have discovered a chink in the Hayate's seemingly flawless Armor!! Actually 2.

Given the pricing, at ~10k less than Dream Yuga, #1 can be excused. But #2 ?
About #2 Sounds impossible unless it was ripped all day long at 80+ speeds.
50-60 ?? Since when ? 50-52 was the max I have heard anyone get in SZ-R. That too by riding it like a Splendor.Originally posted by somen1984 View PostSZr is one of the good average bikes, but if your bro gets an average of 35-35kmpl which is the worst average ever heard dude

60k is OTR budget not ex-showroom budgetOriginally posted by 111diablo111 View PostI am amazed to see that no one here mentioned Pulsar 135ls as an option, its a light weighted bike with sporty looks, has power & return decent mileage as well..is there any specific reason not to consider that bike?

Anyway ontopic:
Instead of Dream Yuga, Twister, Super Splendor, etc OP can consider looking at Bajaj Discover 125 and 150. They are priced exactly around 60k in Bangalore (58 for 125 and ~61 for 150). And Discover 150 is an extremely light, extremely fast pocket rocket that also gives insane amounts of mileage.Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

in Delhi a P135ls having an ex showroom price just above 58k so i don't think that it'll go way out of budget i.e over 60k OTR..Originally posted by antz.bin View PostHere is a very good reason..
