Would it?? sry I did not know that.. That was just my honest opinion.. It is not any better than P135..
Well, I am in the same dilemma. R15 or CBR250R. Although if I get a P220, I would be more than happy. I need something potent in touring and I would pick P220 over R15 V2 for touring purposes. The ultimate guru is CBR250R if touring is what you need. For me, P220 ticks almost all the check boxes but since I can spend some money, I am thinking about R and CBR.

The thing is, the CBR thread (not fully followed) is holding me back, plus the pathetic Honda A.S.S. It feels like to me that there is lot to take care about CBR, like alien words of Shims, tappets. R15 on the other hand looks far more simple to maintain it. There are no extra-terrestrial words when R15 is considered. Quite scared of CBR, but its the best sports tourer in the country available at affordable price.

R15 - 125,638 INR and CBR - 167,848 Std. This is the price in Hyderabad. Its the simplicity of R15(maintenance field) that attracts me, but CBR has got what I want to pursue (TOURING). Anyhow, I will be walking to office if I get any of these amazing babes.

Today If a person buys R15 then it's for only follwoing reasons:
          1. Killer Looks
          2. Excellent Handling
          3. Excellent Braking
          4. Excelelnt Cornering
          5. Full Sport Riding Posture

I am using R15 daily to office, riding it for 40kms with an average of 40=42kmpl. But personally i feel R15 is not for daily ride. When i had brought R15 my intension were very clear, Weekend rides, ride to full power and speed, cornering etc. But today i am getting bore with same speed, power and cornering. Even this would have been Ninja then too my feelings would have been same. I love Sports posture so Touring would be also fine with me, did many longs tours of 500+kms one side. Still happy with it. But not for daily.

People buy CBR for follwoing reasons:
          1. 250cc power
          2. resonalbe compare to Ninja
          3. Touring machine
          4. Honda Name
          5. ABS optional

But still i think any bikes which are related to passion they are good to be used when it really needs!!

CBR is good in touring, Stability and power. If you are looking for touring then CBR is any day better than R15. Tomorrow on highways CBR F***K R15 badly!! this won't matter to you if you not interested in speed.

Maintenance wise CBR is more simple actually, bcuase parts are almost same cost to R15 little higher that's what i read some where in Xbhp. But still ask CBR owners, Ask Aargee Sir!! He is the best person for CBR info. Previous lot had issues with SVC and other stuff but not now.

PS: Personal suggestion if you are going to use it daily then go with any regular commuter rather than R15 or CBR. NS 200 would be nice!!

I am already with a power commuter, P150. Not looking for naked bikes and moreover, P200NS didn't appeal to me. Infact P220 still appeals to me over P200NS.
Now coming to R15 and CBR (its a heart vs brains thing), I can use R15 for short city rides just because in SANE mode, I can extract a respectable FE which CBR won't give. Highways, the story changes, both can do 100 all day long, but CBR offers that extra comfort which R15 lacks big time.
            I am 5'6" and weigh 52 kilos.
I still got to understand my requirements. Why is it so confusing??

Both CBR250 and R15 are very different bike, one is tourer while other is sporty for perfect city riding. Test ride both of them, you on your own come to known which one is best for you, then decide which one you want buy, list out your preferences first and then decide which one you like to buy.
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.
