Same dilemma that I also have. To find a suitable comfortable replacement for the ZMA.

Did a trip this weekend, and rode a CBR250 as well. Its fast, looks great, has better stock headlights and maybe brakes better if tyres are changed from stock, but it certainly is not as comfortable as the ZMA. It doesnt smoothen out the road; unlike the ZMA. The position is more sporty than the P220, but less than the R15 so it will take some getting used to from the ZMA whose position does not put any strain on the wrists/shoulders/back.

I only wish that the ZMR had the 250 engine and a more proportional body and I might have gone for that. Only if the partnership had broken after they brought out a 250. As of now, my search still goes on, with possibly a Honda bigger bike as a replacement.
Ride Safe. Respect others on the road.

I guess you already have an awesome bike. If you are concerned about CBR's issues that were reported earlier, let me inform I have been using 2012 CBR250 since 3 months and 5000kms without any issues. I am pretty much satisfied with CBR( lights, comfort, power delivery, FE etc.). The only negative beeing the hard seats and Contigo tyres but there is always some negatives to a product. Tyres and seats in this case. Would get them them changed asap. Duke is a good city bike but not sure about tours. Though Duke has been to Leh which proves its touring ability but still at high speeds the faired bikes will be more stable than nakeds. Tank range for both Duke and CBR is almost same. You can also look into 200NS, its a vfm machine.

Bottomline is take test ride of each of them and decide.

Yeah, I did watch that interview on telivision about 200/390 faired version of Duke. But take this for granted that if launched the fully faired bike will more towards sports riding than touring. As for R25, the chances are less anytime soon. If you want to wait, you will have to wait till the world ends because every 3 or 6 months there will be a new machine with new features. Do what I did, chalk out your rquirement(weekend rides, city cmmuting or touring), decide your actual and stretched budget, short-list the bikes to suit your requirement, test ride each of them to decide.
