No offence but seems like you are blaming the bike for your poor riding skills. All bikes will skid if you grab a handful of the bike's brakes plus it depends on the surface you are riding on. I've a couple of guys who still ride the first gen pulsar and are pretty satisfied with it for daily commute but obviously it wont match the P220 or the P200NS as the quality has much improved. For example, the only expense I spared for my bike in the last 2yrs was Rs.10 for the rev needle. Am totally satisfied with my bike..

The P200NS is a fine bike as you have already read everywhere, but personally suggest that you keep away from pulsar as you will always have that psychological barrier in your mind.
If you are looking for us to convince you to go for the Pulsar, we cant.

Like Sid85 said go for any of the Hero's or Honda's.. the best would be the CBR 250 if not then the Karizma. I wouldnt suggest the ZMR, as well go for the CBR.

200ns cant be taken for support for previous gen pulsars. They were bad in handling, atleast it takes a long time to get used to it and not at all easy to 'control' it when need the most. p200ns is not a 'Pulsar' at all, even I used to hate first gen pulsars (dont have much of experience with p220 though), dont know why they have to name this again a 'Pulsar'.

For the TS: 200ns is a different bike, don't get bogged down the the name 'pulsar' in it, it is unpulsar in everything, especially you can control it to a greater precision. Go for a TD.

And as for Karizmas...im Sorry im not a big fan of Faired bikes (only CBR 250r took my breath away..but out of budget)

what about Apache RTR 180 ABS...i dont like the new devil looking one.it seems a bit abstract and out of shape to me (no offence again )..i like the older model..does the older model RTR 180 come ABS? Also I am around 5'10''-11'' ish....would it suit me?..
