  • Which 150cc bike within 60k for 5ft3 person?

    Hello Friends

I am planning to buy a new bike......i got enough practice riding 110cc bike...now, its time to upgrade

Currently, i own a Honda Twister 110cc model and i am looking to move on to 150cc bike. I'm 5' 3" feet tall

Please suggest a 150cc bike which should be............

    Decent looks
    Low Seat Height bikes....
    Comfortable ride....
    Decent mileage 40-50 kmpl
No vibes at speeds of 60/70kmph
Budget right now seems to be 55k-60k

please feel free to suggest other options not in the above mentioned ones....

    Thanks in Advance

    Shubha

55-60k won't buy you a 150cc bike in Bangalore. That's what 125cc bikes cost there. You need to up your budget to at least 70-75k to include proper 150cc bikes.

For your height, Yamaha FZ and TVS Apache RTR would be good bikes for you.

If you want to stay closer to the budget, the Discover 125ST is practically your best bet.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Avenger is a good bike if you are the cruiser type of person. Saddle height is low enough so there is no issue for anyone to flat-foot the ground. But don't expect it to return anywhere between 40-50kmpl with any kind of consistency. You might get to that figure once in a blue moon but a more realistic expectation would be ~35-40 kmpl.

Just push your budget a little higher to fetch a 150 cc segment bike, by the way looking at your requirements (specially comfort and decent average) you may consider Honda Unicorn ( CB UNICORN BE A WING RIDER ) and the ride height can be adjusted, do take a visit to a near by show room and cross-check the suitability.

          Warm Regards,

350 Standard/Classic - The seat height looks the same to me,, sorry for not giving exact specifications, that's a shame! However, one of my friend who's 5.4 handles it pretty fine although he finds it difficult in turns & likes.

Nice to see the RE bug gotten in to you, this bug will help you to stretch you budget more . I think Classic 350 will suit shorties, do a test ride and decide.

Hi Shubha, please don't get me wrong but first prioritize your needs. First it was 60K, then 80K and now 1.30K+! The range of budget you are having covers almost 80% under 350CC in India.
Within your requirements, I'd suggest you the Discover 125, Hero Achiever, Yamaha SZ-RR and Pulsar 135. Tke a TR before deciding.

dude, first make up your mind, about what you want.
you are jumping from 150 cc to avenger220 to RE350.
mileage ranging from 40-50 to whatever RE 350 gives.
Decide what you need and we will be glad to point you to the right direction.

And for the record your height is not going to be a problem at all. You ride your current bike with ease, dont you??
So you will just have to get used to the new bike.
Please make up a firm mind, regarding your needs, your budget, the mileage you want and your riding style and then choose wisely.
                      Ride safe.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

                          No problem brother ,
                          we are here to help.
Now as you want a RE, gather as much information about it as you can, go to RE dealership and take a test ride, see how it feels, does it suits you.
Read ownership reviews on the net, ask questions to people who already own the Bike, it helps a lot. Thats what I did.
And if everything works out the way you want, go for it man.
Nothing can stop you from achieving your dream.
Do tell us what you decide.
                          Ride safe.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
