As all are saying, even i think that GS150R i for u.....
If not that you can go for the new graphic Unicorn...nice bike...

But after all if you are ready to invest more than a lakh... Go and buy R15 with your eyes closed....It is baby R1( still need a dictionary.....)

My bro is 6 feet tall.....and loves riding the bike for even commuting...

Dude seriously go for Yamaha YZF R15...

@rony_canada4ever: I personally suggest you wait because a string of launches will be expected this year. GS 150R 'sounds' like a good bike but most probably noone here has ridden the bike. Most haven't even seen it in flesh. Do wait before taking your decision. We will get a good idea of what is expected from the stables of biking manufacturers this month.

One of the awesome feelings I had in my life is to see the world receding on my back mirror

          Thanks buddy...

May be thats what is in store for me...The Yamaha showroom in my city has been shut down as they are relocating the showroom to another place...The process will take a month atleast...

So I might as well wait a bit longer...

And as far as GS150 R is concerned...I don't think its any competetion to the yamahas as far as looks are concerned...and as earlier said NO ONE has got any test drive on it yet...

                      GS 4 u !!

@rony_canada4ever: Man, if u really want exclusivity, with low maintenance costs, decent mileage, fresh looks and reliability, Suzuki GS 150R is ur first bike! It received a positive response from the reviewers all over the internet.

its 6 speed, 1down - 5up, will be the thing u'll be most thankful of!

Summing it up, its got everything u need, with an attractive price tag

+1 from my side to the bike.. Personally feel that looks are xcellent especially the lamps and the damn kool instrument panel!!

                      Go 4 it,

Checked GS out yesterday @ Suzuki showroom, Airport Road , Bangalore.

They are not giving test rides as they only have one bike and it's on show.
Here are some things which I got to know
                        - price - ~67k on road in bangalore
                        - fuel tank is big - 15.5ltr
                        - Dry weight - 134kg -- kerb weight - 149kgs
                        - As per them milegage would be ~60kmpl
                        - And low end torque is good as you can drive in 6th gear @ as low as 30kmph without any jerks
                        - height, weight, feel -- almost unicorn type, but handle still feels light.
                        - Liked the LED tail light with integrated blinkers. Saw it in red and it appeared to me the best color.
                        - side design under the seat is exactly same as unicorn with 6 speed written in place of monoshock ..
                        - Styping is simple and sober

Overall it looks to me a bigger, better Unicorn from a different company.

Competitively priced, I must say. Really good work by Suzuki. I believe it definitely will give the other 150s a good run for their money.

                          2 fuel tank is big - 15.5ltr

Yes. Thats big. Biggest among all bikes right? Except the classic pulsars I guess.

                          3 Dry weight - 134kg -- kerb weight - 149kgs

Heavy. Real heavy. I don't know how that will effect its handling, performance and fuel efficiency. But surely, it will have a big bike feel.

4 As per them milegage would be ~60kmpl

Well, we'll just have to see about that.

5 And low end torque is good as you can drive in 6th gear @ as low as 30kmph without any jerks

This will be interesting. Because the sixth cog is normally taller and for highway cruise. Lets see how Suzuki will handle this, if will it be enough to putter around in city.

6 Styling is simple and sober

Suzuki, I guess, wanted to target a broader audience with its modern yet simple styling. Can it outdo the other 150s is the question.
