Confused between r15 and cbr 150. Which would be better for Leh tour?

    Hi Buddy,

    I have an Avenger. I have taken it to some rough and tough terrains like Kodachadri and some other parts in Western Ghats. It does really well while climbing. Its low seat position gives you an advantage of putting your feet down when in need. Only glitch is on a smooth tarmac laced with sand, gravel and water front wheel locks up. hence, you got to maintain very low speeds on such surfaces. Give it complete off-road conditions, it performs. mind you, I am talking about Avenger in stock condition

      Would have suggested you a hero impulse if height was not an issue, has good torque, but otherwise, you can go for CBR 250R, awesome torque, wide tyres, good to load luggage etc.

        I am surprised no one has mentioned the P220 yet. Pretty much conforms to all the requirements. A proven tourer in the Himalayan terrain as well.

          You can also look at P220. There are many who have been to Leh on it. Excellent torque for the climbs and the highways and performs well on all terrains .

            Look at pulsar220 or avenger...... R15 and c150 are not meant for climbs.
