"Comfort" is completely subjective. I find a R15 extremely uncomfortable but there are thousands who find it comfy enough for long tours. You can be the best judge here - take a decision after test-riding both.
But yes, if you are 5'8" or taller, you'll find the ergonomics of the SS more comfortable than the Discover.

I'd like to pitch in with actual experiences. I ride a lot with friends and many of them are in the 125cc class as I myself used to tour on a 110cc(honda twister). Someone here said that the stunner is no good over 70kmph. I have experiences that contradict that statement. My friends runs a stunner on a k&n filter and a michelin pilot sporty tube rear tyre(110/90). Very stable at even 90-95kmph, but also pretty strainer. Can do 70-80kmph continuously for atleast 75km. It only has slightly rearset footpegs. The seating is pretty much non-aggressive and comfortable. Seeing that the ignitor is similar, I'd say they're bound to be same in performance. I would vouch for both the machines. But why go for these two when you have much better things up for grabs at cheaper rate? :P

Another friend of mine uses the gladiator. This is the version before the ss125. Basically the same bike. Different name. He bought it second hand at 30k. It had done close to 15k km. He just got new tires(MRF zapper fs-70/90 in the front, and another zapper 90 section for the rear) and a stock air filter as it was due for replacement. It still returns 50kmpl on an average. He uses it for touring mostly. We have done trips to all terrains on the vehicle(ghat sections, river side, off road, highway; you name it, we've been there). Our longest was a 600km trip to kolli hills and back in the same day. The bike was marvelous on the trip. I myself rode it for close to 200km since he wanted to ride my rtr. Very smooth. Like the disco, it too has a 5 speed gearbox. Sexy vehicle. I really liked it. Very comfortable, good feel, and can do decent highway(we maintained an average of 75kmph on the trip doing 90kmph for half hour and 60-65 for 15 minutes. Only downside is the power on the vehicle. I really wish it had more juice.

Again, I stress, please consider a 150cc vehicle. No matter how much I rode and liked the ss125, I felt a sort of relief riding my RTR again. Even though I have much more aggressive stance on the RTR, I tire out lesser on it, only because my bike tires out lesser doing a constant 90kmph for hours together. They say a bike is only as good as the rider, or something to that effect. I seriously think both depend on each other. You cant push a bike to do something it shouldn't do, just the way you wouldn't do something you dont think you're capable of.

ok what 150 would you all suggest?
this is a category i have no clue about as it is the most flooded segement,suggest a bike that would be good for long tour.now add a new priority word to comfort-torque.max budget 70-80k

dont say 150 yamaha or cbr 150r now,i am already going overboard

Honda unicorn is the most comfortable 150cc I ever rode.Excellent handling,good weight for touring.
Consider CBZ extreme also,cheaper spares.
Apache 160,fun to ride,but not a capable tourer with vibes,clip ons.

Honda Unicorn does the job well , a decent yet very practical 150cc bike.
If you want to add some more style , go for the Hero Hunk.

Difference between Dazzler & Unicorn is much.
The unicorn stays in a powered commuter section. Where as the Dazzler is sporty motorcycle.
The chasis is different, The unicorn produces 13.3 ps of power & torque of around 12.8 nm.
The dazzler is tuned up to 14 ps & a torque as same as unicorn i hope.
Both are torquey here, infact same

so which is a better buy?

Now you can consider the bikes unicorn and xtreme/hunk,i would particularly go with the hunk,though i own a cbz xtreme,i would still consider hunk because of its more comfort level
than the other 2 bikes which i have mentioned,unicorn's spares will always be higher than that of hero products..
I m not going going towards pulsars range just because i find the engine needs much better care than the honda's engines...
Rest all is upto you to decide,also pulsars,unicorn does not come with dual disks whereas xtreme and hunk does.
Do a test ride of these bikes to see which one suits you better i.e. which is more comfortable according to you....

@hage bhai please fix your requirements,need and budget first then start searching the bike. if you switch your mind so fast you might regret buying the bike which doesn't satisfy your need.

in 150cc segment and a tourer one you shouldn't look for pulsar,hunk,xtreme,apache,fz,r15 and cbr as these are bike made for city and performance . for touring purpose you should have in your list discover,szr,dazzler,gs150r,unicorn and trigger.

gs150r and unicorn will be more bulkier in weight than other and may be difficult to handle by you as you weigh 55kg

try making a TD and decide... trigger is the newest and the fresh piece in the market rest all are launched 4-5 yrs before...

@Hage bhai : No confusion here. Decide well, go accordingly.
As you have mentioned above, the needs, i would suggest you to go for a Honda Unicorn, because it will suit your requirements perfectly.
Its one of the best 150cc bikes, refined, powerful & comfortable at the same time quite fuel efficient too.
Coming to the Honda Trigger, it carries the same engine of Unicorn Dazzler. Its almost same as a Dazzler with different cosmetic changes.
A new feature is Combi Brake system which reduces braking distance a bit, its a newbie, no doubt its a great machine, but needs some time to prove its point in sales.
Coming to Pulsar-150, its a perfect value for money made motorcycle. But remember its not as good as the Honda unicorn in Quality & reliability. The difference in quality of Bajaj & Honda can be clearly felt when you ride them. Some minor vibrations after a specific period are a common problem with Bajaj, coming to its comfort levels, its not that comfortable as it has clipons which make the rider to lean a bit. Coming to Dazzler, i heard that its spares are not readily available at most places as its sold less.
With the Unicorn, the Comfort is entirely fullfilled here, fair torque, good on highways, mileage of 53 + kmpl on highway in economy mode.
Coming to all these points, The bike which suits you according to me is a Honda Unicorn & I would suggest you to go for a Honda Unicorn.

also one question why did you rule out Suzuki gs150r,i thought that 6 speed would be good on highways(but i also though i was getting a 125cc)

dazzler as i am the owner i didnt felt any problem with it till now one month old...it shouldnt be in ur list as its shutdown.

instead of buying unicorn you should buy trigger in my opinion buy the latest or dont buy anything just for unicorn and trigger...

gs150r can probably be out of the list due to one problem only that is service centre and spare parts availibility...

apache 180 will never satisfy your requirements as its a sporty bike...the same applies here that of apache 160

Whoa man!! you have shifted to a new segment altogether! Just make sure you get your priorities right, as with a change in segment, there will be changes all the parameters.

If style is not a deciding factor among your criteria, then the GS150 is a great highway bike, thanks to the 6th gear. Touring non-stop at 100km/h is effortless. It's a heavier, and hence more stable bike. The engine is extremely smooth - at par with the Unicorn benchmark. Service is an issue only if you stay in a small town. For cities like Bangalore or Pune or Mumbai, service is not a problem.

Again, if style is a criteria, you can do for the Trigger. Else, Unicorn is a time-tested workhorse.
