Depending on your preferences related to looks and styling, you can go for Honda Shine, Hero Ignitor or Honda Twister. Discover 100T is another consider-worthy choice, even though it's a 100cc, it's pretty great.
The Shine won't break any performance barriers, but is extremely refined and smooth. Hero Ignitor packs some improvements over the Honda Stunner, so recommended.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Let's go by the alphabet wise of which 125 cc bike you would like among these,

              1. Bajaj 125 ST - Aiming to recapture the imaginations of daily city commuters and casual bikers, the Bajaj Discover is an accomplished ride with plenty to recommend it – a worthy rival for bikes like the Hero. . .
For more details, Bajaj Discover 125, Buy Bajaj Discover, Bajaj Discover Motorcycle check this out. . .

              2. Hero Ignitor - Hero Ignitor has been priced very competitively. The base variant will cost you INR 55.9K (ex-showroom, Delhi) while you will have to spend 2K more if you opt for a front disk brake. The bike has everything from style to fuel economy which makes it a complete value for money bike. Moreover, it’s a product from Hero which has credibility in the market. Yes, it lacks its own identity due to high resemblance to Stunner but to compensate, the bike will have high resale value and low maintenance. . .
For more details Hero Ignitor Bike, Price, Colours and Specifications ? Hero MotoCorp Ltd check this out. . .

              3. Honda CB Shine - Apart from its suspension system, there is hardly anything in this bike which can be criticized. It has a brilliant engine which is high on refinement and performance. Moreover it has acceptable looks and fuel efficiency and most importantly, Honda has priced it very competitively. It’s a very nice option which can always be considered while opting for a 125cc bike. It’s the fastest bike in its segment and for us; it’s a complete value for money bike.
For more details CB Shine winner's choice check this out. . .

              4. Suzuki slingshot - Suzuki Slingshot ranges from INR 46K-50K (ex-showroom, Delhi (approx., may vary)). Undoubtedly, Suzuki has priced this bike competitively. It has a very refined engine which offers impressive city performance and mileage. We feel it’s a complete value for money bike but we are only concerned about its poor reputation and low resale value. It’s going to be really hard for Suzuki to convince our Indian buyers to choose Slingshot over other reputed bikes like Bajaj Discover and Hero Glamour. . .
For more details Suzuki Slingshot Plus - Specifications & Price of 125cc Bikes in India | Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. check this out. . .

              5. TVS Phoenix 125 - The disc variant of TVS Phoenix 125 is priced at INR 52.9K (ex-showroom, Delhi (approx., may vary)). At this price, we must say it’s a complete value for money bike. Yes, it is less stylish than others but TVS has priced it very competitively and stuffed it with many premium features. For the first time, we can say confidently that if you are looking for an economical yet powerful, feature rich and fuel efficient 125cc bike then you should opt for this bike from TVS. . .
For more details TVS PHOENIX 125 check this out. . .

              and lastly,

              6. Yamaha SS125 - The Yamaha SS125 mounts a strong challenge to the existing bikes on the market in this class, such as the Hero Honda Glamour or the TVS Flame, with plenty of power and a great design that will win over many drivers. . .
For more details Products | India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. check this out. . .

Hope the above information helps. . . Took some time and made this list of bikes from all others. . . Choose wisely. . . Have fun. . .

Agree on all aspects of the Shine but....fastest? Are you kidding? Shine can't exceed 70kph!

Glamour and Flame? The SS is the 2nd best performance among all 125cc bike available in the market, second only to the Discover 125ST. How many 125cc bikes can cross 100km/h? But the poor FE is it's biggest weak point.

Considering from the point of view from 0-60. . . and that's the thing about 125ss, we ain't just speaking about performance, we are speaking about the overall things of a bike, it's looks, it's performance, it's fuel efficiency and so on, so it's not just considering the power of a bike to say it's no1 but it should have all other features to be called as the No1. . . Forgot to mention the PS: These verdicts of the bikes are taken from a website with minor changes by me. . . So what the website have said, I have edited it and pasted them here. . .

In 125cc bike category i suggest the best is Honda shine and Discover 125ST .
Where Shine is very very reliable good looking "Honda" its good on kmpl figures low on maintainence.
Whereas a if you like to lean towards a little more sporty thing discover 125st hands out the best with four valved and monoshock...quite tiny good features. Although ill prefer Shine over discover anyday.

If looks are not that important go for Shine or Glamour or Super Splendor . If you want better looks and bit more features then go for Ignitor or Stunner. All 125 give 55km + per liter of fuel efficiency

                          Hi all
If i can suggest and not sure if it fits here I would suggest thr 100cc Bajaj discover. One of my friend recently bought it. Awesome power, and really economical. Giving 80+ ti him.

However this is my point of view. No offence friends.

I've touched 106 km/h(single) and 96 km/h(with pillion) before I ran out of road on my SS. And that too with ZERO vibrations.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
