bikes that can be added to your list ......

    a. Apache 180 ( serious VFM ) , you would have option of white color in Apache 180.
    b. Yamaha FZ/FZ-s/Fazer ( FZ series has better pillion seat in latest models )
    c. Hero..... I will not recommend Karizma, running on age old engine.
    d. Honda CBR150R ( definitely to go if you can stretch your budget little bit )

My only question, Will pillion rider feel comfortable in P200NS? I seriously love that bike (even my display picture shows it ) but I am thinking twice because of it.

Yamaha, i feel Apache is better than FZ series

Hero? Will the quality is same as before?

Honda Cbr160 ? won't suit my budget brother

Its bit hard on side and I felt slight vibes as a pillion. But I guess you can add extra cushion to make it soft. If you worry that much why not zmr?? Did u ride it? If you didnt like zmr too then go for apache 180 abs. With added safety, its worth the money. But tvs service is dissapointing In chennai, same for bajaj though. So ride and decide

Any Interests in Royal Enfields??? :P

If you want good comfort for pillion avenger is the way to go.

If you are more into sporty types, according to me 200NS won't be a good option for daily commute with pillion (excluding shorter distance of travel that is <20kms). No offense I am not against 200NS

P220 is also a good option with pillion rider, there are aftermarket performance kits available.

Low maintenance bikes for daily commute, I have added few of them:
          1. CB unicorn
          2. CB Dazzler
          3. Hero cbz xtreme
          4. Hero hunk
          5. P150
          6. Suzuki GS150 over all good with dimensions for your mentioned height and you will never regret for the 6th Gear :P

If you can shell few more and maintenance is ok ok for you :
          1. Yamaha R15 V2
          2. Hero Karizma zmr
          3. TVS Apache 180 ABS
          4. Bajaj P220
          5. Bajaj P200NS

          Cruisers
          1. Avenger 220
          2. Royal Enfield TBTS - 8 months average waiting.

          Keep Thumping

          Kawasaki Bajaj Caliber 2000 - Sold Yamaha RX 135 5 Speed 2002
          Honda CB Dazzler 2010
          Royal Enfield Classic 350 2013

Even if not going for ABS version, Apache 180 is somewhere 4K dearer than Apache160 and its true track inspired bike !

Yamaha FZ series..... you get Yamaha proven engine with some good road presence and vibe free ride. Apache would be faster that FZ for sure.

Hero quality.....We didnt really know what difference it made on ground level when Hero and Honda parted their ways.

It I am not mistaken you have budget of about 1.2 Lacs....Honda CBR150R is coming for around 1.33 Lacs OTR Delhi. Thats why I said, have a look if you can stretch your budget.

Dont need to worry about quality of Hero products. Top notch they are. Did you test drive ZMR?

Even if its age old, just test ride it , just to see how good it is. Then opt for P200NS if that suits your requirements.

Bro...trust me. Your girl friend will be totally ok with the NS.
True that the pillion seat is tall but it would only be difficult for your mum to sit as your pillion, especially with the traditional both legs same side posture.
Your Girl friend will climb and totally love the NS (unless your GF wears only a traditional saree to hang out with you...)

From your words its evident that you truly love the Pulsar...all you need to do is to take a good test drive on it..and I bet you will be left with no furthur
                  confusion.

And apache is a very cool bike to own...I would personally prefer the RTR 180 ABS...
I really regret my NS doesnt have an ABS..
                  If not the RTR ABS....
NS must be the one for you.
PS : I've heard many tall guys (6" and more) complain they are not completly comfortable on board the apache...But again, its for you to decide.

Dude I own an FZ and my friend owns an NS. Having ridden both I can tell you one thing. If you like the Muscular look of FZ, go for it! But mind you it has a sedate acceleration, unlike NS which is a pure performer. NS has better braking, great acceleration but when it comes to comfort and riding posture , my FZ is much more comfortable. Granted that the seat is still a bit small and a bit high, but for going on rides with girlfriend, it is very good.
Just test ride both with your GF as pillion and let her tell you. If you ask me, performance round is won by NS and looks, comfort by FZ

Pulsar 200NS & Yamaha R15 definately not comfortable for Pillion who is a girl & mostly wear Indian dress. Go for Pulsar220 or Hero ZMR
