Re: help required to select between Apache RTR 180 ABS, Unicorn Dazzler and Hero Xtre
Given your height and weight, I think you would be better off with something bigger than 150cc. If I was you then I'd go for the Pulsar 220f as it fits the bill perfectly and ticks all your boxes! Its in your budget, good power, lovely tourer, great performance, nice average as per your preference level. Only other one that comes close is a Karizma-R albeit with wee bit lesser power but proven and smoother engine and overall quality levels. Karizma has better flickability and handling too. But you get a lot more bells n' whistles with the 220. Projector and elipsoidal headlamp, gas shocks, wide tyre, cheap spares, the works.... Forget the 150cc's man.

Re: help required to select between Apache RTR 180 ABS, Unicorn Dazzler and Hero Xtre
For your Height RTR won't suit you, You may encounter knee or back pain
Dazzler is under-powered and also discontinued by honda
So the obvious choice is hero Xtreme. Get it! Ypu can expect its mileage from 45-55. Also the bike's saddle height is pretty tall, so it would be perfect for you
As a side note: If you can extend your budget by 6k then get Karzima R. Mileage would be from 35-42
Pulsar 200 ns would also be perfect for your height.. Got great power. May have reliability issuesHero Honda CBZ- 2007-2007 Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme- 2007-2013
Suzuki Access- 2010 and Counting
Pulsar 220F - 2012 and counting Pulsar 200ns- 2013 and Counting
SAY YES TO FULL FACE HELMETS

Friends thanks for your suggestions.
I had a chance to test ride pulsar 200ns and almost fell for it. Only one thing that kept me away from it was absence of abs. Still have not go schance to test ride RTR.

About ABS: I have a Honda CBR250R with C-ABS. It does come handy. It is a very nice safety feature. In rain, lose sand, gravel etc, it works like a charm. I had some occasions where it saved my ass too
But then, ask about the ABS of Apache to experts, if it's that good, you may consider that.
Still, you will have to chose between overall better bike or a bike with ABS.
Only Apach, Duke390, CBR250R have ABS afaik.
All others except Apache is out of your budget.
Still Pulsar 200NS is a much better bike except the ABS, it's more futuristic, and powerful than the Apache. Apache has some vibration issues too.

Hi Friends
I need your help to decide which bike to choose, Currently I have Splendor for 4 years and no problem so ever, I want to buy another bike a bit more powerful for occasional trip to hills. Based on above requirements Please suggest the correct bike. I have some options in mind if possible please suggest one which best suits. I had almost made my mind on Hero Xtreme, then I looked at Honda Unicorn Dazzler and read in forums that it has better suspension now my mind is struck on TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS. Please suggest better option from these and please give reason for the choice( apart from power ).
One more query on sidelines : if I buy any one of these will it be possible to make trip to Leh with a pillion along with luggage ( I mean if select certain bike will it carry all this load: mine : 98 kg, Pillion rider: 70 KG plus some luggage and climb all the passes and bad roads ) Please suggest. If bike cannot take that much load We can ride solo on different bikes. I have one concern about Apache RTR 180 ABS that as rad in forums its stock tires are not good for grip if I have to change the tyres to CEAT or MRF what will be the extra cost I have to bear.
I want to get Leh'd next year.
hello sonu, according to me the best bike that will suite you in all possible ways is the Pulsar 200NS, it certainly accounts for all the 10 commandments that you have specified..!!
even though do take a test ride on 200NS and also try the ZMR.!!
happy riding..!!
CHEERZ...!!
