Hello to all my friends...
My age is 19 ...my height is 5'4" and weight is 60kg...
So in your opinion which bike is suitable for me ? no matter 100/125/150 CC...but budget is 80000...
Please try to suggest bike which have low seat height... (as I am kind of short guy and this is supposed to be my first bike so I am concerned about handling)
and no chance for replacing bike in 4-5 years...
ya there are some news of companies coming up with new models in 2014, so if u want to wait another 6 months or so....otherwise u can go ahead and test ride some of the bikes mentioned..!!Originally posted by abhi7395 View Post
And my friends told me that in 2014 lots of bikes will launch--- is this true? should I wait?
Cheers..!!

Re: help me buddies...! Budget 80000
Karizma R would be 13-17k over his budget depending on the place he buys from and is not very frugal but here mileage is not the point, price is.Originally posted by Night_Shade View PostClose your eyes and lay your hands on KARIZMA R... one of the best bike in India till now..
The apache is too old and vibey, its bound to be replaced or upgraded soon. The bike I would suggest would be Fz. Smooth and torquey motor, a good handler, has a nice mid range punch for a 150cc air cooled engine and is a looker in its segment. Expect real world economy of around 35-40kmpl.
If budget permits look at the karizma R and the pulsar 200ns as well. The zma r is a potent tourer, very comfortable and very reliable. Economy would vary from 28-38kmpl depending on the way you ride.
The 200ns, well, there is no other machine south of 1lac that offers such performance, not even the ones costing a lot more. Very good performance, engine is smooth enough, handling is very good as well. Should also be very reliable in the long run.
Would cost roughly10k above your budget but for the price it comes tech laden like liquid cooling, triple spark plugs for very good efficiency, good brakes (disc at both ends) etc
Economy: 30-40kmpl

Re: help me buddies...! Budget 80000
For your height, I would advice you to choose between Yam FZ, RTR180 and Honda Trigger. Take test ride and decide.
FZ would be the most comfortable among them, RTR is the most powerful and Trigger has got the gem of a engine(super smooth).
Its your take now- Choose any of them, you wont be disappointed. All the three are damn good handler.
Edit: I forgot, Pulsar 135 might be comfortable for your height aswell- Its an alrounder bike( a mix of power and comfort).HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

My friend who is around 5.5" is having Ignitor, only one of his legs touches the ground when he rides it. It seems he is kinda used to it.Originally posted by abhi7395 View PostThanks to all of you xbhp guys…
Friends, I like to know that hero ignitor will suite me or not? or I should fo with fzs as most of you guys suggesting???
yesterday I wached ignitor in traffic and liked it but my friend told me that it have same seat height as stunner...is this true?
(Only one leg of mine touches the ground when I ride my friend's stunner...and I can't handle it comfortablly because I am still learning)...
Ignitor is a very good bike - light , nice power, nice mileage (around 55kmpl), nice looks, digital console, tubeless tires etc.

Re: help me buddies...! Budget 80000
You already got the right answers.
Honda Trigger, Yamaha FZ. If money permits, Pulsar 200NS or Karizma R.
Avenger will be very comfy regarding your height.
Leave Apache as it has some vibration issues.
Test ride any bike before buying it. Repeat, TEST RIDE ANY BIKE BEFORE BUYING IT. You will know if you can handle her.

Re: help me buddies...! Budget 80000
I would again strongly suggest you to somehow arrange the rest of the money, its not much thou for the kind of classic piece of machinery you are gonna get Karizma R... I really really hope you are not gonna regret later.. Think again dude.. and remember one thing, its all about riding, handling and control skills which makes helps you to tame your machine.. not your height of weight..Originally posted by valkyrieX7 View PostYou already got the right answers.

LOL. Its not an issue friend... Its the character....Originally posted by valkyrieX7 View Post

Issue is something, which needs to be fixed, Character is a property. Its upto ones taste. I knew exactly, what I was going to buy, Hence I bought.
Thats why, I advice every one, test ride extensively, then decide. No other person can know your taste better than you.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

Re: help me buddies...! Budget 80000
as valkyriex7 said...test ride a few bikes...since you are saying that you are learning to ride, i suggest you take proper care of yourself and take a bike you feel the most comfortable with.
i have a FZS, it is very easy to ride and has a great response, but i guess it would be good for you to really think for avenger, as it is within your budget, you will not have any height issues, and it has a 220 cc oil cooled engine which is great. but the only thing you may have a slight prob with is the maneuverability in the city traffic.
anyways do take a test ride of all the vehicle in you wish list and the ones suggest by Xbhp'ns, and do let us know about you choice, and post a few pics after owning the ride..!!
CHEERZ..!!

But vibrations are not a character.
Yes for enfields, it is well accepted fact. But for a motorcycle that is competing with modern tech bikes, it should not vibrate.

Well, now I feel, you havnt rode an RTR ever. And Vibs of RTR is no ways similar to vibs of REs. Any ways, like I said, its upto ones taste. You hate RTR, You should never buy. I have a friend, who hates RTR for its sitting position, I recomended him P180. He is happy. Simple. No bike is perfect- it just complements its rider. BTW, I have crossed 51K kms of fun biking.Originally posted by valkyrieX7 View PostIt's nice that you love your ride.
