      Hi Vishal,

Based upon your requirments, i think Fz or Fazer will suit you best. The Apache is also a good contender but it lacks the refinement offered by Yamaha.

If i were in your shoes, i would extend my budget a bit more and get a Pulsar 200NS, which suits all your requirements perfectly. Consider saving a bit more and get the 200NS. Its way better than Apache.

        Hey vishal...

Looking at your mentioned options.. yamaha FZ would be a great choice for you.. sufficient power.. very much fun to ride in city also good on highways..

Racetrack usage? What do you mean by that.. any bike on a racetrack above 150cc is good enough.. its a different game though.. riding on a racetrack requires a cool mind and control on yourride.. not necessaryto have a fast powerful superbike..

If you can increase your budget to 1lac.. look at the karizma R or the pulsar 200ns..
Both are VFM product.. and will fulfill all your needs..

Apache is good only if you are comfortable with the vibration part of it.. it is irritating though..

Test ride all these bikes and then conclude.. as you would also know for yourself which gives you better comfort and good feel..

A few bucks & you can look at Apache 180, few more can get you 200NS - both will fit your requirement but if you have restrictive budget, go for FZ, again the mileage figures are real world & around 40ish. These three should satisfy your list except the race track part. Although, I would suggest you to test ride before zeroing on, nothing like the real feeling.

If you have a fixed budget, then go for either RTR or CBZ Extreme. There is a lack of efforts from all companies on improving their 150cc segment bikes, be it whatever brand.

If you want your bike to compete for at least next 5 years with upcoming bikes and technology, go blindly for Pulsar 200NS; it would be worth extra bucks you put in.

But if you are still restricted within your budget, never mind us wanting to suggest you better than you ask for. Bikes you mentioned too are good for your current requirement. Best is to test ride and feel the bikes.

Do tell us what you think.

Why dont you consider and take a test drive of Honda Trigger..??
I ride a dazzler(2011 model) and I am very happy with it, gives a mileage of 54kmpl at speeds of ~60kmph...
The trigger also has the same engine just body is different according to me Honda=peace of mind
and for your occasional recreational ride its a decent bike

                  Hi TBTS-350,

Thank you for your kind suggestion. I'll certainly consider Pulsar 200NS. But, what about Mileage of Pulsar 200NS, can you please throw some light on that, as Petrol prices are rising like hell.

                  Thank You!!

                  Hi AmanZ,

Thank You for kind suggestion. I have ridden Yamaha FZ & Karizma R. Karizma was my first choice always, but due to budget constraints was thinking about Apache. Yamaha FZ do wonders & brilliant handling, only negative is it's bulky body structure & mileage. I have never ridden Pulsar 200NS (it looks big too), but hearing some good reviews. Will certainly consider Pulsar as well. Have you ridden Pulsar 200 NS, please shed some light on handling & mileage, does it vibrate after a year or two ?

                  Thank You!!

                        VFM = Value For Money..
P200ns and Karizma R have a price difference of only 5000..

FZ is good if you have limited budget.. you will love the way the bike handles and the confidence it gives you while cornering or leaning.. only mileage is the downside for a 150cc..

I have ridden almost all bikes in 150cc to 250cc category bikes..

200Ns is a better buy than Karizma, if u looking for great beasty looks.. better features..
                        quick acceleration.. to impress girls..
But not that comfortable for long rides.. you and Pillion (if any) will have to take a break of 5minute to relax..
Otherwise awesome for cornering in city traffic and straight line highway riding..

Karizma R will give you awesome comfort and reliability.. and long engine life.. say 10years or 1lakh kms or even more than that.. i have the first gen karizma still in my family.. clocked around 1.56lakh kms.. the bike does not start with self start.. but one kick and off we go.. vroom..

Riding karizma for 700kms stretch without a break is a piece of cake for it.. you wont feel tired even after that.. what more should i say..

And P200NS has no vibrations.. One of my biker friend has it.. almost 1.5 years old.. ridden for about.. 30000 kms.. its still powerful as new.. clocked top speed of 132 on his p200ns during my last month's ride..

P200ns will give you range of 35- 40km for a litre of petrol.. its a decent and acceptable figure you get from such a powerful bike..

If you are a Rookie rider.. learn the art of braking in P200ns.. they are real quick and you need to be carefull..

                          Hi AmanZ & Everyone,

Thank You for valuable inputs. I have decided to increase the budget, hence wait for some more months. But, I'll buy the beast Pulsar 200 NS only. Hopefully, till then Bajaj won't increase the price of P200NS.

                          Thank You!!

                          Best Regards,
