  • Bike within 65000rs (fixedbudget)

    Hi frds,

One of my frd is looking for a bike within 65000. The budget is very tight for him.. He is around 6.1" &weight is around 100kg. His daily running around 60km within delhi any few kms in gurgaon.

I suggest him to go for stunner which is only 61000rs. Also on weekday(sunday) a littlebit here and there with wife. The sumup of their total weight is around 180kg. .

Pls advice, wheather my suggestion for him is right or wrong?????

I would not suggest a Stunner since getting on the pillion might be a task. Also the Stunner might be strained for a combined weight of 180 kgs

I guess he can get himself a Honda Shine or else ask him to get a good condition Honda Unicorn, looks good for his height and decent bike with good mileage and if maintained very well it can turn out to give him almost 60 kpl. . .

          Cheers!!!

That's what I said broda if he can't spend more than 1 rupee extra than his budget of 65k, I guess he'll get a good well maintained Unicorn for that price. . .

              Cheers!!!

180kg is a heavy load on a bike. Did you check the Pulsar 135 LS? I think he'll like it. It's powerful enough for city commutes and is within his budget.

i was aware as i am posting this thread, 180kg loads is too much for 125cc bike.

I will see if he can go for unicorn, i just inquired about gs150r its onroad cost in delhi now 76000rs.. wossshhhh when then happend????? unicorn is still at 72000rs

                    Re: Bike within 65000rs (fixedbudget)

in this budget, Honda Shine would be the best choice.. my friend has it and he always used to ride 3 up and the bike never complained.. has decent power for its capacity and a good mileage..
don't go for discover as they seem to fail pretty badly under weight..

                    Ride safe and have fun.

The Uni will be a gr8 choice. However,I would suggest a new rather than a used one. The GS150 is a really good choice as well if u are okay with it. So only if budget is a constraint go for the Shine. If he can put some extra money,I would suggest a Uni. Because I am sure within a year of buying the Shine,he will be dying for more power

I know uni, gsr will be good but these bike comes in braket of 70-80k rs.

Let me share my exp i rode passion pro for atleast one year. The prblem i faced in delhi bumper to bumper trafic is tht i felt lack of disc brake, also tht bike is proved to be small to me which causes a back pain.

But these two option is ok with stunner, stunner is 11bhp while passion was 8bhp. Also disc brake is avail in stunner too which was absent from passion pro.

AND ONE MORE COMPARISION stunner having good height than passion pro.

Thts why i advice him for stunner or ignitor.
