      You are right about it, I too had a sought of a NO feeling for RTR but after I got my cousin's RTR (new one) to ride extensively for a day, I know how beautifully the bike performs. . . As said earlier, if neglected the vibrations, it's one of the best bikes to ride on, especially in the city, it's awesome to ride, . . Pillion comfort too is also good (at least compared to my 7 year old Unicorn ) took the path holes neatly without even giving the feel. . . [MENTION=32054]sambit[/MENTION] it's not been old fashioned now, it's just more costlier bikes are available now but for those who need something good in less budget, this sure will serve their purpose. . .

        If you are gonna take your mom with you even for very short distances, r15 is not the bike for you. Other than that its a pretty good bike even now in 2013. Go for the r15 if the only pillion you will be taking is your gf.

          thankyou all for the advice but somehow convinced my mom to buy r15 and she'll not sit beside me as pillion ..going for test drive today...and what about the others queries, can anyone help me with them too...???

            Buddy , the v2 riding position is a bit agressive and you might have some wrist pain after the test drive. To avoid this,make sure your thighs tightly hug the tank. Keep your elbows slightly bent so as to give minimum weight to the wrists.

              Bought my RTR 180 last week. As my mom will be a frequent pillion rider on my bike, so with a heavy heart i had to drop the idea of buying R15.

              But i am in love with my Vanilla Thunder. There is so much power in the bike that i am totally satisfied with it, waiting for the boring running in to be completed.

                    Thanks Rakesh Rok and aaron_dagger. Pictures are on the way, planning for a ride to complete the running in. For now the the gear box is very much notchy, waiting for the gear box to be smooth after 3 services.

                        Congrats bro..ur now having an ample powerhouse beneith u,,i always prefer RTR over those pulsars,R15 is my second love,do ride safely and put your speed limited to 55kmph untill u cross 1000 kms after that revv this beautiful engine u will not regret on ur choice. Hope u will post some pics of ur new RTR. Keep updating us and welcome to the GANG APACHE You r now an apachian buddy...

                          Thanks bro, I personally don't like bajaj. R15 and RTR180 are my favorite. Desperately waiting for the running in to be completed. Now riding below 5k rpm and below 60kmph.

                          Can you let me know what mileage you used to get during running in? I think I am getting very less mileage or it is because I am continuously riding in traffic and learning to ride as it is my first bike...?

                            Im using RTR160 and gets 48+ in highways and 40+ in cities since you are having 180 you must get 45 in highways and 40 in cities...its all about your riding skills bro..
