The answer is simple, CB Trigger. . .

Extreme might feel tall for you and pulsar I don't have much faith on old gen pulsars, so the new CB Trigger will fit in your budget and it's a good boy, just go for it. . .

      Cheers!!!

        Re: Best 150cc Bike

I would recommend to give a try for Yamaha SZR. Its a superb bike. Mileage is little on the downside but excellent handling and comfort.
I daily commute 30 kms on it and havent felt any fatigue whatsoever.
SZR is off markets now, since they have launched the SZRR. Give it a try.

P.S. SZR had tubed tyres. Dont know if the new model have tubeless or not.

Hero extreme is very smooth and gives comfortable rides mileage is also good around 55 in highways, but it is little bulky and looks wise not so good. Going to pulsar150 iy will give you pleasure rides in highways but the quality of babaj is not good and bike will become dull after 2 years. CB trigger is new but its totally a makeover of CB Dazzler and its underpower too
I think you can take test drives and check it out by own, since your budget is 80k i think you can check apache rtr 160 also it satisfies all your needs and rest of your choice i think xtreme is good for you...check th

I am more inclined towards CB trigger but I think the maintenance cost will be higher. I had read somewhere that the air filter is not to be cleaned and changed at every 16000 km and costs Rs 16000. Is it true?

Even mercedes benz air filter wouldn't cost that much. It must have been Rs. 160. Don't take any further advice from the guy who told you that.

All three of those bikes are good. These days there's too much fanboyism on this forum everyone will recommend what they own and will tell to hate the rest. Test ride all of them and go with the heart.

I have looked at Suzuki GS150r but few service stations is a problem. FZ has the lowest mileage in 150cc category. So I think I will go with Honda CB trigger Delux model having front and rear disc brakes.

                          Re: Best 150cc Bike

All 3 bikes are good. In fact all 150 CC bikes manufactured these days are good (I mean mechanically sound). You make your choice basis styling, brand preference, service facility etc. Now I will restrict myself to the three choices you have mentioned.

Pulser 150 :Been around for quite some time and getting toooo long in the tooth. Everybody on street rides a Pulser. In terms of fit and finish this looses out to it's Jap counterparts.
Hero Extreme : Definitely smart looking. Very reliable, you will have a comfortable ride and it has all the bells and whistles, (Dual Disc, Digital Console etc). Only this model has been around for quite some time. But this is backed by good service network.

Honda Trigger: Brand new introduction in the Market. Good styling (though subjective at times), great instrument console, dual disc. and all. You are getting the original Honda technology instead of borrowed Honda technology (Read Hero Motocorp). If you have nothing against the Trigger's styling it's a great buy. Honda has now equally good service network. You will be the "Wing Rider".

As for rider height, if you are over 5' 7" you should not have any difficulty riding any of them. They are very closely matched on fuel efficiency and performance. The difference of performance amongst 150 CC bikes you read about in the magazines and online forums are very marginal and in 'common man's riding' mode you will not note any difference unless it's a true race oriented engineering marvel like R15 or a highly tuned Apache 160.

And did I mention the CBZ Xtreame and Trigger will fetch the highest price in the 2nd hand market where the Pulser will definitely loose out.

Do take a test ride on all three. Best wishes on your purchase.

Above guy truly describes the scenario ,don't go for pulsar, unless you're getting an old one at high reasonable price ,cb trigger is best you can get(or you can stretch your already stretching budget and buy the true biking power ,200ns, style, power, mileage, comfort, reliability all checks in(IMO, other bike guys don't attack me ,saying this by having ownership of a p150,splendor, 200ns,r15 v2

How come Xtreme is into list ? It's not an average bike.
If you need average then surely it is CB TRIGGER. company claims 60kmpl, my friends are getting 53-55kmpl.

16K for an airfilter ....Nope !! You have mistaken.

If you need something less then TRIGGER then Unicorn.
But CB TRIGGER is best now.
