Extreme is really good bro. Wait for the newer model. I guess it may be in showrooms now. The exhaust and leg guards look attractive. They say it happens to have a feature where the engine doesn't start until you remove the side stand. It's a very good feature. And also it has an electric immobilizer. Meaning no one can steal your bike with a duplicate key. Console is quite big and easy to read. It definitely is an above average bike if you ask me! TD it .

Re: Best 150cc Bike
Where did all the TVS Fans go away from xBHP?? Nobody recommending the RTR160? IMO, it is one of the better City bikes you can get in that price-range.
As far as your other requirements go:
1. FE is par for the course. Better than Yamaha FZ/SZ .
2. Braking is top notch.
3. Tubeless tyres are not offered from factory but you can always get them changed
4. Riding position will be comfortable for a person of your size (referring to height and weight)
5. More powerful (== More FUN) than all 3 bikes you have selected for the same amount of money.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Hey..same thing you recommended to me too.Got RTR 180 no regrets.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostWhere did all the TVS Fans go away from xBHP?? Nobody recommending the RTR160? IMO, it is one of the better City bikes you can get in that price-range.

I would think better get 180,only a small price difference. But power increase is felt when you ride both back to back.180 can give decent mileage,at least as good as FZ."Vibes transmitted from crank shaft to frame, then through the bearings of the head stock and into the stem where it meets the triple clamp and into the clip-ons where it is greeted with great pleasure by my hands"-ratfighter mod rtr

Re: Best 150cc Bike
Have a look at apache RTR 160 too.
It returns a healthy 40 - 45 kmpl.
Braking is simply awesome.
Handling is also amazing. It is the most powerful out of all the bikes you mentioned and also the vibes on the new apache seems less compared to the old models(my cousin has '09 model and I own the new model.)
Take a TD of the bike and also have a look at the RTR 180 as their is not much difference in price.
I cant comment on other bikes as I have not ridden any of them.
P.S : The tyres have very poor grip, if u consider buying this bike, do change the tyres.

Re: Best 150cc Bike
Exteme is a no nonsense option. Checkout the new version.Originally posted by Himanshu Rajan View PostI am looking for 150cc bike for the following requirements. My height is 5'5'' and weight 68 kg.
1. Monthly commute of 1500 kms
2. Good Mileage
3. Comfort riding
4. Good braking system
5. Budget around Rs. 80000.
6. Low on maintenance
7. Tubeless tyres
I have narrowed few bikes.
1. Hero Extreme
2. Honda CB Trigger
3. Bajaj Pulsar 150
Thank you for helping in advance.
TrIgger, why it's this costly? I don't know. May be u need to buy it before they rebrand it again soon.
Pulsar 150 us a dated product. From engine tweaks it have reached an era of sticker work and paint job. That means this product is due for replacement in line up. Think before you put your money on it.
