  • Hi riders please help me to select cbr150 or r15

    I want a bike woth
    --> good styling
    --> GOOD PERFORMANCE
    I read many reviews on r15 and cbr on every forum aur site even I test ride both of these
    And both are fun to ride
    Some says cbr has low quality switch gear
    Some says r15 2.o has very high uncomfortable pillion seat which leads to paining the back of pillion
    Some say the service of cbr is very poor
    (I personally like the r15 2.o due it's appearance)
    But I also like the power of cbr
    😟😟😟😟😟😟😟😟😟
    Which bike is to choose???

      Without knowing your intended usage and other stuffs, I would any day suggest you the CBR has it's a step better than R15 in terms of performance, also it has more FE than R15 too. . . If you give your list of the requirements then I can tell you better which will be good. . .

        if most of your usage is in city then go for r15v2.

          Re: Hi riders please help me to select cbr150 or r15

          R15 is better for short rides. Its a awesome machine to ride. At first it would definitely pain your wrists but knowing the exact seating position(which some of the senior members may better provide) will give you no discomfort at all. But for the pillion its definitely not going to be a good day at all. Select R15 if you preferably drive single and short rides.

          CBR 150 is much better(I say much much better) on the pillion comfort, relaxed ride posture compared to R15's aggressive stance, long rides are pure bliss. My friend owns a CBR 150 and I dint like the switches(not gear switching) provided(damn it did not even have a engine kill switch). Prefer CBR 150 definitely if you drive long and with pillion.

          Regarding performance I feel both bikes score in different areas which owners/senior members could definitely suggest.

          P.S.: If I would have been buying then I would definitely have gone for R15...

            If you are looking for pillion comfort then i will not suggest R15 for you.
            If pillion comfort is an exception then any day it's the R15 over cbr (its just my opinion though).

            Cheers

                I am also just above 5'10" and i never faced any problem with the R15 being short or anything like that.
                its a simple point, want pillion comfort, don't look at R15. It as simple as that. Unless you have a gf and just take her for in city rides.

                  Correct. I'm 180 cms in height and I love the Yamaha! Falls right in place.
                  Pillion seat though uncomfortable offers a nice balcony view.

                  And he was talking about swapping CBR 250R's swithgear with 150's.

                      Haha rightly said.. Balcony view for 1.25L

                      Ok ok, got that.
                      btw, in 150cc class, R15 is the best choice in faired bikes. Either get a cbr250 or r15. Leave cbr150 out. I personally don't like it, so gave my suggestion.
                      Changing parts not meant for the bike will also void the warranty i think.
