    Today i asked abt loan for R15 in yamaha showroom. the guy told the minimum down payment that will be applicable for my salary will be 35k... and the monthly EMI will be 2992(3000RS)... or he told if i give 45k then the EMI will be 2500rs...

    i am in a confusion whether to take R15 or FZ16...

      go for the R15 eyes closed
      fz16 wont give you the pull and you definately need somethin that atleast provides you more kick than the rx...
      and r15 will be doin that...........

        All that pull, kick and hooliganism is actually better on the RTR Fi than on the R15!!!!

              ya sam ur right...
              many friends told me not to sell my beauty... actually my intention was to keep RX and buy another one(a four strike) i didn't ride that much four stroke bikes...

              but now money matters...
              now i can't afford two bikes...
              that's y...

                ^^The RTR Fi is same as RTR carb except that the vibes are much more contained, and the exhaust note is a lot more intoxicating!!

                    i know but always remember no matter how cool bikes come .. all will stand for a entry for the mighty RD .. same case here ...

                        I wrote that after reading at many places. As per written places(don't have references) and my observation from different forums(including
                        orkut -) - RTR gives in range of 45-50 in normal usage and RTR Fi gives 50-55. There are no hard and fast rule or facts behind it but that's what I came to know from different sources including service center guys too.

                        One more thing: I felt power delivery a lot smoother in RTR FI then RTR when I took test rides of both back to back. Overall when I took test ride, I did feel a noticeable difference in RTR and RTR FI.

                            i dont quiet understand why the confusion?!?!?!

                            its pretty simple...keep ur RX. dont think of selling it.

                            i suggest u keep it and use it. when the finances are good again, buy the fz16. dont commit a mistake of selling a classic like the rx. u will end up regretting it within the first month itself.

                              Guys actually i was in a confusion of selecting between 2 bikes R15 and FZ...
                              but now the selection list has increased to 3 bikes(RTR FI)...LOL...

                              friends i think i will go for FZ16... coz considering

                              1. R15 - now i can't afford that bike... the other thing is if i have more than 1 lakh... i will definitely go for RD350(no comments please)...

                              2. RTR FI - i don't have that much belief in TVS(RTR fans don't fell bad of me...its only my opinion)...

                              3. FZ16 - i will get 25k for my RX... and the down payment is only 25k and monthly EMI will be below 2000RS... i think it will be good...

                                well we gave our suggestions .. rest is upto you ..
                                the only thing i am saying is ... you spent 20+ k on your rx ,,, why will you sell it ?

                                gather some money and go for a 2nd hand bike ..
                                and RTR has no probs in engine .. i know TVS SUCKS TO THE CORE .. but this product is quite good //
