as the title suggests i'm born again bike at 34 because i used to ride a bike at 34 after that used only cars in between i used to have an RD sold it because i had no time to ride it. now i am really thinking to get a decent bike budget is around 2 lakh my main priority is comfortable seating position & good performance. i don't want a bike with seating position with your bum pointing south. Bike will be used in city. i'm 6'2" with 87Kg.
So what is your age currently ??
If you use to ride bike at 34 yrs, later cars ....then after what yrs you are back to biking.

If you are 40 + or 50 + yrs then I think You are certainly not enjoying Duke or CBR anyways.

Why not a RE TB350 or TB500 ?? These bikes are comfortable with lots of torque.
For city ride even these bikes are good. If you are not thinking of any ZIP/ZAP in city traffic !!

    Test ride and see....

Performance oriented with retro looks.... Not sure but a big hearted cruiser is on cards from Bajaj, a. 250 from hyosung is also expected, or yeah think a bit and if possible 'BONNIE'

        Royal Enfield Continental GT
is the one! Test ride the Continental GT, it is a looker and is the best "Enfield" up to date.
You might have to slightly compromise on comfort, i beleive you might get used to it (the crouched position).
It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

Well, the requirement and the solution don't really match up, do they?

Sandeep bhai, among all the current bikes, the TBTS500 and the 200NS would be ideal choices. If you are willing to wait, there's plenty coming!

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

I second what bbsrailfan has said.

Among the current lot, P200NS is the best match for Sandeep...
Among the upcoming ones, Suzuki Inazuma 250... which should be around 2lakhs....suits you just right!!!

Do go to a better dealer. Just coz one guy is bad doesn't mean u let go of an opportunity to buy a Bullet. TB500 seems the best bet in your case. I had recently tested TB500 and Continental GT (my area's dealer is well-mannered :P), GT was excellent, no doubt, but like you, I am almost 6 2 and I found the position too heavy on my wrists and in addition, the positioning of foot pegs also isn't comfortable for anyone above 5 10.
Specs of 390 are mindblowing but I still feel, given your needs, TB500 would be better.

Re: bike for born again biker

The only time I rode the Duke200, I was seriously put off by it. I am 6"2&85kgs and I felt extremely awkward on it. It was too small. The gear and rear brake levers were too short for my unashamedly long feet. It's just not built for tall people. I loved it's hectic character. But I was riding it to Nandhi Hills(Blore), and I found the power surges+short gearing+awkward size unenjoyable on those road curves. It may also be because I am used to the P200's bigger size+more relaxed and linear power delivery I guess.
