Good choice & congrats. Post your ownership experience in cb-trigger thread.Originally posted by Amit Kolambikar View PostI booked my Honda Trigger Black STD..will receive it on Monday.I am still learning to ride hope to ride the bike from showroom to home easily
Only issue is paying 80k on-road for a bike, giving a 100cc-125cc switch gears
. Exclude cbr150r.

Re: Best Bike under 75k
Well Since its going to be my first bike , i did not notice the dullness switch gears during TD but still i had read many reviews and ownership threads on 3 to 4 sites also seen youtube videos and checked mouthshut reviews ,This seemed to be most pleasing. It also lacks a rear mudguard.Originally posted by MR ACE View PostGood choice & congrats. Re: Best Bike under 75k
Well i was in the same dilemma as you were, after looking at the features i fell in love with the Centuro but than again after checking out many sad reviews (Which you can see as people commenting on its official page ) .Then i thought of moving a bit upwards in the scale of cc as most of my friends kept on saying to me that you buy only once for 5-6 years ,better buy a good one and all kind of crap. Then i started looking at 125cc bikes :Originally posted by newbiker1990 View PostCongrats buddy..
For me you are lucky(and brave too) to make such quick decision of choosing trigger as your first ride..
I am still in mere confusion.

Bike Riding > Meditation...
1.Discover,Phoenix unreliable engine
2.Stunner and ignitor : Personal perspective ( didn't like the looks )
3.Pulsar 135LS : Drove my friends ride and it does vibrate a bit at 60kmph and 5k rpm but i really loved the looks and it seemed to be a great bike , i even called the bajaj executives of pune to ask if they are gonna re model this bike and launch in the near future (They said no such plan is made as of now)
4.Then there was Hero Glamour , Its a good bike , but priced at 72k the programmed FI version ,and Unicorn is for 75k
5.SS 125 is a good bike , but it did not have time to TD it.
Then again i raised my bar more higher and checked out few of the 150cc bikes :
1.GS150R heavy for me.. a great bike though
2.FZ : Less mileage
3.Yamaha SZ RR : its for 71k and not so great reviews
4.RTR 160 is also good bikes check its threads
Honda Trigger :
STD : 79.5k
DLX : 82.5k
CBS : 89k at Kothari Wheels Pune
Pros :rear monoshocks, nice petrol tank , fully digital console , powerful headlights, kickstart & electric start options , tubeless tyres, pass lights, reliable tweaked 150cc- good pick up & mileage better than Unicorn.
You can checkout the detailed comparison of FZ- S and Trigger here : 2013 Honda CB Trigger Vs Yamaha FZ-S
I have Honda Activa on which i finished 3 Lakh 22k KMs and let me tell you at first i did all the free servicing and then gave it only at 6 months interval (Sometimes not over a year )
it has not given me any problem at all , probably gives less mileage but cmon its 7 years old
.Honda Engines are reliable.
FZ-S has great looks ,sturdy body and better handling. But it gives less mileage , you can checkout the comments on the above link as well. The reasons for considering Trigger over FZS was that it gave more mileage and believe me "Money saved is,Money earned " (Aprrox you save 20 bucks for a 40 KM ride ). The main thing i disliked about Trigger is that Very lousy paint Job and no graphics make the bike look all dull and crappy , but well you can invest some amount and get any look you want (mostly some graphics and paint ).
For mileage of Trigger you can read a few ownership XP of people over here :
1. Motorbeam
2. Mouthshut
and also there a few Facebook Pages just search for them.
You can look into RTR160,FZ,Xtreme( promising ).If you are in no Hurry then you can checkout the newly launched Suzuki Gixxer 155( bookings from July).
I will post pics and review as soon as i receive my ride ( a day or 2 left ).
