Priyank, in that case I won't be suggesting you to go for ZMR but still if you can convince your parents and show them advantages and disadvantages of the bike it would be great pick for you considering all your requirement. Also I would've suggested you to go for Honda Trigger but as you've mentioned earlier you are no longer interested in 150 cc segment otherwise it is yet another good sensible choice below 1 lac.

stock Karizma ZMA-R comes with tube type tires and ZMR comes with tubeless tires
ZMA-R has front disc brakes, ZMR has front and rear disc brakes.
ZMA-R Carb version, ZMR is FI (fuel injected)
ZMA-R FE: 37-42 in mixed condition, ZMR 42-46

For wheel lock you might want to view/read below mentioned thread of 200NS:

For your query regarding tube type or tubeless please go through: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...less-tube.html

Moreover I could sense that your heart is little bit inclined towards to NS, if that is the case have a good test ride of the bike and make your decision, it is no doubt fantastic machine.
it would be great if any you can arrange TD from your friends or known people, so that you can make up your mind.

@priyank.shishodia Buy the 200NS, ZMA won't have the fun you want since you rode RTR 160. Also spares are cheaper compared to ZMA. 200NS does come with MF battery (The manual says VRLA battery which is essentially the same thing) You can replace the rear tire to that of Duke or any soft compound tire for better traction but if you just use the bike for normal commuting the tires should be enough.

BTW you and I have the same name

What is a wheel lock? If you are referring to disc locks, yes, you can install one in P200NS.

Apart from all the choices that fellow members have given to you, I would suggest you to wait a month more. Many new bikes would be released at the Auto-Expo and hopefully, a few under Rs. 1L
Else, you should opt for the 200ns.

        Ride safe and have fun.

Wtih due respect to all guys.... I will suggest Avenger 220. I am 5 ft 9'.. I have a frnd who is 6 ft 3'. Who is using Avy and he is very comfirtable with it... I am using it from last 1 year and covered almost 10000 kms.. Bike works like charm. As far as you are not willing to to off roading bike has no alternative. Open highways, turns and even traffic (provided you know how to use it).. But you will know when you get used to with the bike... My bike is returning healthy 40 kmph. I am satisfied with it.. Before going to other bikes just think once about Avenger.. When you will enter in to Bajaj showroom just her presence will get you hypnotized.. It happened to me.. I was going for Pulsar 220F. But after watching Avy, I changed my decision, It was love at first sight.... And hey, I am not regreting... Plz just once think about Avy... I am sure you won't regret.. Sorry for such a long reply

wheel lock is that which is inserted from other side and it holds the alloys of the rim. it is also called shocker lock.

              this one.
well i am trying to convince my parents for ns but as my apache was stolen so they are not ready. i also would like to know about fazer. how is its seating position(compared to rtr), reliability and all other things and will it suit my height? does it comes with maintenance free battery?

Fazer, its a good bike. Tested and passed with flying colours on our indian roads. But being a 150cc bike, you would get the need for more quite soon. I myself own a fz. But on highways, Fazer is better than the ns.
If city riding is main purpose, go with ns.

No pulsar ever had "serious" problems.

I think Bajaj 200ns fits the bill perfectly.
And don't forget to get 0% depreciation insurance(instead normal) from bajaj allianz. I think it gives better protection against theft. Your parents will be happy.
