What about 200NS,it is quite a comfortable ride as well as power packed and is a VFM product.But the price range is lower then mentioned here.

Else in your budget, you can try for a CBR which is also very comfortable bike, Bullets on the other hand are as always well known for their comfortableness, but bumper to bumper traffic it sure is a bit problem, you just got to adjust it. . . Duke ain't that comfortable for short distances like these you can adjust but please go through ownership thread of Duke 390 before you decide as there seems to be problem with it. . .
