Actually, with a carburetor bike like the NS, that's one of the biggest advantages over fuel injected bikes. You can push start it if the battery goes, which is never recommended for a fuel injected bike.

I came from a CBR250 to the NS and I don't regret it one bit.

Of course I do miss the more spacious seat. The engine in the Honda is more refined, but nothing I can't live without. Besides, the NS engine is more tractable.

The top speed is lower and I do have to sacrifice the high speed crossing ability of the Honda. But I do get a better handling and only a slightly slower bike.

But do I regret it? No, I don't.

      Buddy,
If u are looking for a fared bike than why cant u wait for Pulsar 200 SS. According to me CBR150 is a bit over priced for 150cc and creature comfort. And Look for Yamaha R15 also buddy. Make ur circle wide enough so that u can have a better look.

      Happy Journey,

I agree. The CBR150 is very much overpriced, compared to the R15 which is a better bike overall. The only advantage the Honda has with its power is on a drag strip at the top end. Otherwise everywhere else the Yamaha with its more usable power at all rpms to the Honda is better.

I felt that the Yamaha also has better quality parts, even in comparison to the CBR250 that I had. And, of course, it is cheaper than the CBR150.

Note: Meant "cruising" rather than "crossing" in my previous post. Stupid soulless, emotionless autocorrect of my phone failing at guessing my words.

Re: Planing to buy Pulsar 200ns or CBR 150r...?

When i am thinking to upgrade to a bike in the 200+cc range i decided to wait for pulsar 375 faired.but after waiting 1 year i purchased pulsar 200ns because i dont want to buy again bajaj bikes dtsi.but this 200ns has ktm duke engine except 3 spark plug and the combustion area.this is the best bike in 1 lakh price.it gives me mileage of 40kmpl while riding at 80kmph speed.and 37 while with pillion.no stress on the engine what ever the speed.it can run all day long with 100kmph speed.but the windblast is very much post 100kmph .

In simple words if u r budget is 1 lakh than do not think twice and get this bike pulsar 200ns.

Or wait to get pulsar 200ns with fuel injected, full faring, projector lampsnote 2 projector lamp, new exhaust..and it should cost u around 30000more than pulsar 200ns.

If u want more power than got the honda cbr 250.
Most important decision while buying the bike is to test ride it ...
Fully faired bike are good while cruising the highway.for a pulsar the rider has to face a lot of windblast as a result the crusing speed comes down around 100kmph speed or less.but it can cruise at 80 kmph speed.but the faired one can cruise to it near top speed .......

If you can wait for a few days,RTR 200 would be a good purchase.
