@ Prajwal- can't wait till late July or August. Thanks for the advice though
If you are attracted towards the extreme, then close your eyes and go for it. It has GRS shocks, same as on ZMR and hence the suspension is gonna be lot smoother. Also refined engine. You'll come to know of all these when you take a TD. So decide after riding it.

Its a good combination of power and mileage. Besides its softer and thicker suspensions, The sitting stance is neither much aggressive nor much commuterish, thus provides a relaxed feel. 180 would be a good power upgrade over your Unicorn, while economial as the same almost, and it has almost zero vibrations.
Extreme's suspension is not as stiff ass you portray here. I've been riding the ZMR which has the same GRS shock set up, only difference being it is inverted in ZMR (i-GRS). So rear suspension is pretty smooth and comfortable.

i won't deny CbZ has a smooth suspension worthy on rough surfaces, but if anybody seeks a soft suspension, pulsar is anyday better recommended. Personally I like both the suspensions.

After all these different ideas and suggestion I need go and start taking test rides. I am badly stuck with my work these days and get very tired by the end of the day so couldn't really go for any test rides. The various comments which you guys have added are really very helpful. Thanks for sharing your ideas and personal experiences

keep in mind that how a bike looks play important role how it can satisfy its owner. Extreme is a capable bike and the new launch will have more power (15.2 bhp). So if you have likings for it you may get it eyes closed. All the best.
