I dont think the seat will come down due to weight, and there is no way to reduce the seat height aftermarket, at least in my home town. Yes honda engines are very very good.
I would suggest you to visit both the showrooms (Honda and Yamaha). take your parents along with you, take test rides of both the bikes, with and without pillion. then decide which one suits you the best. I did the same about 3 months ago.
Everyone is different and has different needs, choose the one that makes you happy. Also there are other options, 200NS is good and below 1 lakh. RTRs are good. Fazer is good but will have same Horse power and torque as your current ride, so it wont be an upgrade.
