If your budget is strictly 80k, I would suggest Yamaha SZ-RR, Honda Unicorn or the new Discover 150 variants. If you can stretch by a few thousands more, you can think about the FZ, Trigger or the new Gixxer

Considering your height, budget and other requirements, I feel Honda CB Trigger should be a perfect choice for you. You will get comfort and smoothness along with a good mileage too (45-50 kmpl). The second choice could be Yamaha Sz-R, which is less in cost, and a vfm bike. But do prefer Trigger having the budget.

For your requirement, the order of preference should be(150ccs)
            1. Honda Unicorn(ageless wonder)
            2. Yamaha SZ-RR(Very refined and smooth commuter)
            3. Hero Extreme(proven contender).
As you'd be riding 35 km.s daily on average, you can also opt for a Sub-150 cc. In that case the order I'd prefer,
            1. Yamaha SS 125(smooth,powerful and good enough for occassional long rides)
            2. Pulsar 135(Best power to weight ratio, good performance with good FE)
            3. Star2City(decent bike with good power and FE).
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Keeping your height, wait & budget in mind I would suggest you Pulsar 135LS or CB trigger, both the bikes are comfy, light and refined for daily traffic commute, But if you want little more powerful machine then you can have a look on FZ V2 FI which will come little more on your pocket around 8-10k more, its comfortable and very good for city traffic because of its low end torque

                      Hi Kiran,

                      hope you are doing well.

Taking into consideration your height and weight, your basic need is to buy a bike which is less in height and has a low kerb weight.
Believe me, this will actually be the deciding factor between making your commute either comfortable or tiresome. And more so, when your travel involves 30+kms of city driving.

I myself am 36 yrs old with height 5.4 and weight 55 kg. I drive 44 kms daily. And I own a Honda neo 110cc. Bike weight is 105 kg and slightly heighted than splendor.

If you are driving a splendor which is a low-height bike, then shifting to a 150 cc bike (pulsar, unicorn, trigger) would make your ride tiresome.

Why dont you try a 125 cc bike which will give you the best of both worlds. Performane of 150cc and mileage / comfort of 100cc.

The best selling 125 cc bike is Honda shine. You can even try for the Bajaj 125T or Bajaj 125M, Yamaha ss125.

My suggestion is test drive the bikes to get a feel of how the bike behaves (wt, ht, drivability, smoothness). Then take a decision.

                      Happy riding. Drive safe!!

As you need the bike for totally city used the bike should be nimble in manoeuvring and should be comfortable,i would suggest you Yamaha SS125cc bike though not seen that much on the roads it has got 5 gears a quite good engine plus renowned Yamaha's reliability the only drawback i feel with this bike is high pillion seat and half chain cover, i won't recommend you any bike from Honda as they are pathetic in every department, if you can find a good reliable mechanic outside only then go for Honda, bajaj has got same switch on switch off habit, today this model is available next day it's out of the production, hero's glamour is another good product, is in the market for very long time glamour will suit you height wise also, whatever bike you select just take the test ride of that bike and check all the parameters that you are looking in your bike afterall it's you who will be riding it daily.
