  • KTM DUKE 200 or PULSAR 200 NS

Hiii Xbhpians iam going to sell my current bike p220 in a month & going to buy different street fighter light bike like D200 OR P200 NS but confused about my decision
Iam a huge fan of half faired bikes but as for now i feel all the indian half faired bikes looks outdated to me in styling ( my personal opinion) so wanted to try unique looking bikes like p200 ns & d200.

My driving conditions are 80% city and 20 % highways & i want a bike which feels good in the city and also on the highways with good pleasent crusing capabilities.

D200 and P200 NS shares the same engine components except in some dissimilarities so is the duke really worth for investing extra 45-50k??? over 200NS.

How about the service at ktm ? I want to know the all the pros and cons of the two bikes. How about the reliabilty factor of these 2 bikes??

    Waiting for your sugestions .

Duke 200 is a better package than the NS. Have the money, go for it.

Has FI engine with gives way better feedback than the carb on NS.
      Much better tyres for grip.
      Better instrument console.
And not to forget the crisp acceleration and fun

NS is a complete package in itself for the budget it commands.

      Ride safe and have fun.

Re: KTM DUKE 200 or PULSAR 200 NS

According to me 200ns is the best pulsar till date. No other bike can match it in terms of value for money.
I have duke myself and i love it more everyday.
If you can buy duke its totally worth it and you won't regret it, but i have to say 200ns is the best at the price it comes. So ride both the bikes and see which one communicate with you more.

The option is very simple, do you want bang for your every buck and can compromise slightly on some parameters? Go for Pulsar 200ns. Want the best? pick the Duke 200! The duke 200 engine is riot actually, although the 200ns is based on same engine there's very stark difference in their behaviour. The 200 is more mature but duke 200 is a rockstar!

It's all about money ,whether you can spent 50k more and hence forth 1000₹ more on services or not .
Imo, duke 390 is a better buy .
Else get 200ns, d200 isn't worth spending 50-60k when you can add more 40 k and get a powerhouse which will quench your thirst for many upcoming years .

Duke is like an aggressive Rottweiler & P200NS is decent Pug .

If budget allows, go for duke. There is a sense of uniqueness of the premium product.
If the budget is limited, NS does all the things much cheaper, but you lose the feeling of exclusivity.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

In the long run, I feel that the 200NS will be cheaper and much more modification friendly. Go for the NS instead or just get the 390.

Uniqueness is there ,a lot but still 99.99% of the time ,whenever I visit and park my bike anywhere in national capital, I am mostly unable to find a bike more faster and exclusive than mine
Yes scenario is changing ,but still mass segment is commuterish, 200ns will also do the job of uniqueness, though not like duke .
Ps: try RC200/390 ,worth spending money.

Only till the 150 NS and 180 arrives.
If that thing is a success then every part of the capital city will be of NS

First of all,I still don't know why people buy 150 or 180 (existing) when you can get the 200 with 20k more.
                              Second about the 150/180ns..
Yeah they can copy the ns ,but can they cope up with ns. .?
It has been two and a half years ,and still much time left before even the official news breaks .
That said I've sucked out way more than the punny 94.5k I paid for this bike ,be it exclusive, looks ,performance or what not .and even after 2 and a half years ,there is no bike below 1.50 lakh (duke 200 cost price) that has made me a tiny little dot on his RVM, although I've made many ,including fz's(v1&2), karizmas(v1&2), r15s(v1&2) ,apache(Well ,body changes) and every wanna be racer on road ,on highway .
                              * I promote riding with gears and specified limits all the time ,but you gotta "enlighten" some people.
                              Cheerz.
