Same thoughts here if some can afford a duke 200 why not pump in more money to get a 390.

But still there are various factors if you reside inside city and there is no point in having a 100cc plus bike for a non biker considering avg speed and his usage .

Faster and being the fastest is because we live in a world where competition is thought in school as the most important factor .
But that fades away as you age.

If its between a duke and NS that depends on the person some person will get IPhone 6 & get more attention while others may be contended with a Asus zenphone saying its offering the same performance.

Overall i felt NS a more refined package to suit multiple needs while duke is only for pure fun (inside city limits as I hate short gearing in highway plus riding position) .

I could have picked the pulsar ns straight away but the new colour combinations look horrible though (just my personal opinion) [emoji87]

Lol ,pal biking never fades ,in fact I know very well in advance (prescient) that I'll surely be riding a litre class bike (or some new tech bike of that time ,maybe manglov, H2o etc) even hours before departing from this mortal world ,in hope of finding a much better place with infinite highways and a bike not running on any exhaustible fluid .

LoL buddy ,real comparison should be like ns as NEXUS 6 and duke as iPhone 6 .not some crappy zenfone. That'll explain much better.

          Duke 200 or 200Ns

          Hello everybody, new member here.
I am about to purchase a new bike soon and wanted some opinions about the same.
My choice right now is Duke 200 and I am also considering the Pulsar 200ns wanted to know whether the Duke is worth shelling out the extra 50k?
          Height- 5\'5
          Weight- 62 kg
          Budget- 1.5 lakhs
Use- Mainly city travel, occasional weekend trips
Also one of my concerns is whether these bikes will suit my height. The 200ns is difficult but I can ride it. Is the Duke taller than it?

Re: KTM DUKE 200 or PULSAR 200 NS

D200 when compared definitely to NS. Not sure if NS is liquid cooled. Duke is definitely, so engine heat is going to be not much issue. Handling, Tires...and best part (to me, which turns any biker on ) is the sweet sound of an exhaust growl. I never managed to hear a NS doing High speed and whiz past me, but driven to one closely, i didnt like the sound...but D200 was like a fast beating drum.

            You wont regret the orange.

After owning both ns and Rd 200 at present, I will say either buy 200ns or RC 200 ,BUT not duke ..!!

If you decide duke than only get the rc as anuj mentioned.
