Go for FZ Fi version. bike is really smooth and loved the way the engine sounded. you need not worry about performance as performance goes down only after 90kph. the bike is a slow to respond from 90 to 100.

Re: [Help] Buying First Bike : FZs FI?
RTR 180, FZ 2.0 are two bikes definitely you can consider. But RTR 180 needs some serious upgrades as it has been more than 4 yrs since its launch we havent seen much upgrades. I am not 100% sure on the build quality, but one thing is certain, its Indian make and cost and quality of spares are cheap
FZ 2.0 is one of the best naked street bikes , with its new FI technology and good road presence. I personally like the paint job on it. I am not sure on the mileage given by FZ as its always been a trend that Yamaha are more performance oriented than mileage. Go for FZ....i would buy this atleast to flaunt the 140 section tyre
R15S - Current
Honda Dio - Current
TNT 600i - Sold
Classic 500 - Sold
Pulsar 220 dtsi - Sold
Yamaha YBX125 - Sold

I think even discover 150 has more bhp in paper.
They have tuned it for fuel efficiency.
Except R15 everything in Yamaha are now slower than its competition and tuned for FE.

Yamaha tuned for FE! Are you kidding. Yamaha is for comfort, optimum power and rock solid built. Apart from these there is not much to offer.. Svc - no. Mileage - big no. Cheap parts - No. It won't break, but when it does, it costs much more than what one expects.Originally posted by Giftonsamuel View PostFz is the least powered 150cc available .

Yes it is the final price. But if you want extra accessories such as leg guard or seat cover, you will have to pay more. Try getting these for free. My dealer gave me free leg guard after some negotiationsOriginally posted by samratbanerjee View PostFriends,
Is the onroad price the final price? Do I have to pay for registration and stuffs like that?

Yes brother onroad price is final, you dont have to pay anything more. onroad price includes registration and full insurance cover (first, second and third party). Try getting free stuff from the dealer as gift, most dealers give bike cover, helmets etc. I got free teflon coating.Originally posted by samratbanerjee View PostFriends,

Not a bad choice, my roomate also bought the same. Just waiting for 1000 kms to be over to see how much power it actually has. Yamaha service centers are better than others too.Originally posted by samratbanerjee View PostOkay! Decided to buy FZs V2.0...call me reckless but yes I booked it! now just the countdown.
