    Hi Team,

Thinking to buy Hero ZMR 214, daily running is around 60km out of which 90% is highway running. But still have doubts in between ZMR,CBR 150 and Pulsar 220. Suggest if any good better option in 1.20 budget and value for money, because Hero is the only brand which gives 5 years warranty ( will keep the bike for atleast 3-4 years ). Not preferring R15 just because its a lower height bike & same problem with RTR180. I am 6.1 tall and average built,

    Thanks..

ZMR is an absolutely fine selection. Very good refined engine. Proven for many years. CBR 150 is overpriced for what it offers.
Also, you can have a look at the P200NS. Value for money.

for your height, ZMR will fit you perfectly. It looks big and have good road presence, Add a smooth reliable and fuel injected engine to it and it is a winner.
Also check out 200 NS , it is taller than it looks and the rev happy engine is very good and powerful.
CBR150 is overprices and is not value for money.
Take test drives and then decide.

ZMR, P220 and P200NS are good bikes with great performance. P200NS also has good height as it won't appear to be.

You can check the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 or Electra 350. which is a good ride indeed too.

As above said CBR150 is overpriced.

Test ride all of them to suite your choices of taste, performances, specs, comfort and budget.

            Re: Suggest the Best

P220 is the best in class for Highway runs and also comes with good low end torque as opposed to NS.
P220 is a simple machine so maintaining it won't be a problem .
If reliability is the only criteria you can get the ZMR .I personally felt that old gen ZMR was much better for touring/highway runs .

Test ride all the three in the roads you will be commuting and decide

              Re: Suggest the Best

If you'r heart says that karizma zmr is the bike to buy then don't think so much and take it because it has large visor that will help you to protect from the wind and make your ride comfortable and it comes with fi this will help you in all weather and mostly in the hill area.

Pulsar 200ns is only for power and top speed.it will throw away each bike into dust when we put pressure on the throttle. It has its own category which is dominated by it from the beginning

Honda 150 is over priced bike but excellent bike and great engine but the pricing is not right.the company is looking to increase it power in the coming months. I advice not to buy it...

ZMR for you, hands down, as your heart is already on it.
Frankly if you get any of them, you wont repent. And about CBR150R. Just as Every body said, me too say- Its unreasonably OVER PRICED.

If you want better comfort but average mileage but good engine with Li cool engine then NS200.
If you want brand mileage and huge network of svc then ZMR2014

                          Hi Team,

As discussed previously, I have told that daily running is about 60km out of which 95% is highway running. In between these days, some of the people told about the ZMR like rider seating position has some back problems, just want to make sure if anyone has any views regarding this. I have to keep the bike for next 3-5 years and that is the reason I was going for FI engine and expecting to deliver 40+ average. Kindly share views, during the test ride (3 km), I didn't felt anything like problem in Rider position.

My dear friend.. dont listen to what others say and go get a bike that suits your needs. ZMR is a perfect highway machine which will fetch you minimum 45 kmph on the highways if you ride at 80 kmph..

Also the engine has proven itself over the years.. in case you feel uncomfortable with the sittimg posture because of the low clipons, you always have the option to get the old generation ZMR clipons which am sure is a direct fit.. it might cost you an additional 2000 at max.. but that wont be required as you will find the stance comfortable yet sporty.. afterall, it is a sports tourer

Ask your queries here in ZMR thread feom ZMR owners..

AFAIK, the old gen karizma r was perfect for touring. Still, I'd prefer the p220 more than 200ns and karizma simply due to its high torque and powerful headlights.. When reliability is concerned, I think it's more on the way each person takes care of the bike..td each bike and feel the change in parameters and then decide.. Whichever bike you choose, take care of the bike well and it will serve you for decades..
                              Happy riding
