    Need to upgrade from pulsar 220

    Dear fellow bikers, i am riding a pulsar 220 since last 5 years.
    Now i want to uphrade to anotjer bike.
    My average monthly running is around 1500-2000kms.
    Please suggest a byk with same or.more power with a comfortable ride and less maintenance.

    Regarding your query, there is not much in the market that can replace the P220. Also, please mention your budget, it will be easier for others to help you out.

        Only 2 Options- CBR 250 and RC 390. Rest of all Indian bikes wont be true upgrades.
        If your budget permits, Look at Ninja 300.

          CBR 250 would be a good upgrade for you. It would've been easier for members had you mentioned your budget, requirements etc.

            My preference order (if budget is for example ,4 lacs) .
            1. Ninja 300.
            2. Cbr250.
            3. Rc390.
            4. Duke 390.
            5. Rc200.

                  Try as much as possible to not go for the RCs as they are pure racing bikes with (trust me) zero city or touring application. Look at the dukes instead. Though I'd suggest the cbr 250 and ninja 300 for comfort and a smooth ride. Cbr250 is also quite low maintenance being Honda and ninja 300 is a very refined machine which doesn't need much spending unless you crash it or damage it in any way.

                      You can go for the Duke 390,Get a Dead RD350 and Restore it,Get a CBR 250 ABS or also you could wait for the TVS Draken RTR X21 250CC which will be out in January 2015.

                        +1 for CBR 250R with ABS, it fulfills all your requirements.

                        duke 200 or 390 if you can spend over 1.5 lakhs.

                        Karizma ZMR and 200NS if you are limited to less than 1 lakh.

                              Yes ,but don't except any out of the world improvement on power .think of it as you did some hot rod mods to your 220 ,without any reliability issues .
                              By the way if I were you ,wait for April get R25
