If comfort is your top most priority, go for Unicorn 160 for everything else Gixxer it is. I am riding gixxer and I miss the comfort my old Unicorn offered.

I'm also 6.2" & 65 kgs. Everyone knows that unicorn offers decent mileage & comfort. But gixxer is equal in some points & superb in many points. Handling, pickup,instrument cluster,design gixxer wins. Mileage in gixxer is almost equal to unicorn 150 but don't know abt 160 & still not seen in roads,showrooms. Can't comment on comfort but both bikes offer decent comfort.

Last week I booked a gixxer white after several months of research & many test rides.
Blindly go for gixxer. Its VFM...

Gixxer, i took a test ride of that bike and I was speechless,looks fast,superb handling and decent milage😊

Go for Gixxer but in banglore waiting for few color is 1month as i checked at hebbal showshowroom.Also check yamaha fzs fi. Its a good bike oveoverall.Also you will enjoy it.

Gixxer is much better but if you like commuterish type of layout then unicorn is best as the seats specially the pillion seat is not very best in gixxer other than that Gixxer rocks.
I have done a lot of research in terms of reading almost all the blogs related to gixxer available on net as I was looking for a 150 bike for my self. I had apache 160 & gixxer in mind but after logical analysis I came to the conclusion that if I ignore the service center reach ,spare parts availability ,short pillion seat , there is no reason to miss Gixxxer which gives better millage with its wider tyre compared to Apache & smoother engine ,fresh looks .
I had to write a mail to Suzuki management to make available my prefered color at dehradun dealer & to my surprize they responded well .I am getting my DD ready & soon will take its delivery, although I haven't seen many gixxer on dehradun roads but I like exclusivity .

GO for Gixxer if you want a naked street bike with fresh new looks and a smooth Suzuki engine.
Go for unicorn if you want a pain and simple commuter bike, with good reliability, robust engine and good pillion comfort.

Take test rides of both of them and then decide.

Both Gixxer and Unicorn have nearly same pickup.
But I can bet on Gixxer its a fun to ride bike, Unicorn is boring.
I have driven my friends gixxer for about 50 kms, Blew my mind.

Hi,
Being honest from zipping across bumper to bumper traffic I personally enjoyed gixxer way more than unicorn. Even though looks are subjective the unicorn does look a bit dull compared to the peppy gixxer. The economy of the bike is good with mileage fig close to 45+ which is a boon if commuting is your thing with occasional trips.
However you might as well check out the new fzs v2, the advantage is its an fi but lesser power compared to gixxer.
Ultimately its your decision, chose wisely & ride safely.

i drive cb unicorn since two years but on a 50kms plus ride i feel back pain and have to pause for a stretch i dun know if that happens other bikers
one benifit is that it accomodates 3 people easily

Ok bought Gixxer ,loved the exhaust note ,sounds like some super bike,a head turner. Horn are a let down (every time i press the horn button it reminds me of my old tvs scooty pep ) .
