    No way buddy it's can never be true. i drove till the last drop of it's fuel. and it was still running............But yes TVS people says tht it's better if you keep more than 2 liter in bike always for better performance.............

      The min. of atleast 2.5 liters of fuel in the tank is true for all Fi bikes. Am not sure of the R15 but its specified for the 220. And TVS Service issues are not at all true. Take this from a person who went to the extremes to get his issues resolved. The vibes are there, but just change the rear sprocket and watch the vibes disappear!

          vibes are issue with the RTR and the FI dont seem to iron them out on good basis.....

          apart from that its one hell of a good machine....its hooligan nature cannot be bettered by the R15 even...(remember it costs good 35 grand more)....the magic of looking at the tacho go to 12000 is too included....and whats more it'll give you 65kmpl!!!!!! if you'll be keeping your tacho below 4000RPM (mine gives) and overall it'll be givin you 40-45 with visits to 12000 inluded 70% of the time.....

          the service manual of RTR FI tells to maintain min of 3 litres in the tank for the sake of the FI....

          the tyres on the bikes are NOT good but are ok for ur evryday riding if you're not into scraping the hell outta pegs... but i'll still recommend the Zappers FY or S tyres.....


          so lets sum it up in one sentence dude......

              hmmm,that petrol thing kind of made me worried..
              guys i stay in mira road /mumbai.i had a loyal tvs showroom in my area,but now its closed.can u guys tell me where are other tvs showrooms near by me.

                  My friend is also in the same confusion to choose between FZ or Fi. But he is looking at the price tag . The new FZ-S costs 74,000 onroad here, so I need to know the onroad price of RTR-Fi. Can you guys please let me know, so that I could help my friend. Thanks in advance.

                    I don't where are you from .. but RTR FI costs ~ 74700/- in Bangalore OTR and normal FZ costs 75k(74999) there with FZ-S would cost around 77-78k there.

                      If you like the sporty looks of the RTR/Fi, go for it. But it does vibrate, my friend has bought one recently.
                      FZ has a good build quality, but if you're not the straight seated/macho looks loving type, it would not inspire.

                        Dude I'm from Trivandrum and here the FZ-S is straight 2k expensive than normal FZ(I guess the price for the new visor ) and this is as per the information provided by the dealer since FZ-S is not launched here yet; the normal FZ costs 72k onroad and They says FZ-S is 74k. So if RTR-Fi hold a cheaper price tag than FZ then I'm sure my friend will only go for it because his only worry was that a fuel injected & rear disc brake bike would be expensive than FZ. But are you sure about the price tag , i mean the RTR-Fi(with twin discs and Fi) is tagged at 74,700/- because I too can't believe it

                            RTR-FI is indeed a hooligan(as quoted by rennycornelius) Stunning performance compared to the rather bland performance of the FZ.
                            Lookout for good tubeless tires and get it fixed. Braking on the RTR is fabulous(courtesy F-R disc) and so is the razor sharp handling...and yes, its one wheelie bound machine, wanna hear more??? go ahead and pick up the RTR FI.

                                RTR Fi in Raipur is just 70k otr. And same price is the FZ 16, FZ-s maybe 72k
