Re: RS200 or 200NS

Yes brothers. I booked black NS. Just can't wait more from that appealing look. Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it.
Can you guys tell me what things to look for when you take a delivery of a bike??

Re: RS200 or 200NS

Congrats.
Basic PDI should include the following:
Check all parts for any scratch or dents.
Check all electricals, eg lights, horn etc.
The handle should be free.
Take a test ride, check the breaks.
Hopefully this should be enough and in case of any other issues you should be able to identify it during your Test ride.

For PDI:
Check for any scratches or dents on the body.
Check whether all electricals are working or not.
Check the odo reading it should not be more than 20 km.
Check the Brake oil level, coolant level, Engine oil level.
Check the air pressure in both the tires and also check the tire tread pattern for any wear and tear .
Lastly check all your documents.

200ns, like all pulsars is front heavy, and overall is is a heavy naked bike. And all that weight up front takes toll in handling and cornering. The bike will be nervous on high speed corners. But if you are used to riding pulsars, you wont find it any different.

As for the reliability, it is fairly reliable and with proper care it will serve you well for long time. Fit and finish is good, but not as good as the japs.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

I disagree completely. NS is no way like all Pulsars. I have been using the bike for more than 2 years. It doesn't feel 145kgs while riding it. No doubt it could have been lighter, may be by 5kgs. No way I would link it to old generation of Pulsars in terms of Handling.

Being best is not about beating everyone. It's about how much you learn from others and make yourself even better

I agree with ankur2smart .We cannot compare NS with older generation pulsar. It's an evolutionary Pulsar. Even Xbhp video review says that its Pulsar unlike PULSAR.
Heaviness in the handlebar is something which requires getting used to but it doesn't tolled Handling and cornering as I had seen reviews in which they were cornering @ 100km/hr + speeds .
In terms of build quality to a certain extent niggle free and doesn't rattle like the old gen pulsars.

Stubh, Congrats and yes the initial pickup like 0-60 and 0-100 of NS is better than RS. Anyways for riding in traffic NS is a better option.

Would like to disagree in fact first of all ,the front isn't that heavy while riding and cornering + the little bit heavier front inspires confidence in me somehow. And yes put mrf on ns and see how it comes par with r15 and tries to do best with RC.
PS- owner of Ns, r15 , rc200 in that order.

Hello mate,

Did you get the chance to ride RS200 by any chance.
I have suggested my friend to buy one and he had already booked it but figure might be deceptive.
So, is there anyone here who could give me his own riding experience of RS. Hope i am posting in rite forum here

As per the review they said that the engine is smooth and less vibration as compared to the pulsar 200ns.pickup of 200ns is more due to the weight.seat height is reduced.
