I am a Software Engineer based at Chennai.

I currently own a 2006 Bajaj Discover 125cc and am looking for an upgrade but cannot decide.

I wanted the RC 200 so badly but my friends informed me that it is not good for long distances(not sure if they meant > 100 or less 100) so I kinda dropped it.

Then I was informed of the RS200, so now I am confused between the RS and NS. I do love the new pulsar and the styling in my opinion is absolutely gorgeous.

With ABS and FI, I am also happy that it will be a smooth ride.

So please help me in selecting between the Duke and Pulsar.

So my questions primarily are:
1. Is the Duke 200 or RC 200 not suited for long distances? If so exactly how long? All I hear say is not good but not exactly as to how long.

2. How are the service costs of the RC? I know the Bajaj Service costs are comparatively low because of my Discover

3. Is there are a better option that I have missed.? I am 5'8 and 68kgs.

I kinda booked a bike that was never in contention when I initially started this thread.

I test drove the RS200, AS200, CBR and the Dukes. Then my close friend who works at the Royal Enfield Plant in Chennai suggested their brand(I thought of this just as an endorsement) since he works there.

I test drove the Thunderbird 500 and kinda awestruck with the way it handled and the same day(yesterday) booked one.

Hopefully the delivery time will be in 2-3 months.
