Tell your parents , fattest tyres are the safest tyres since the bike won't fall easily and have better grip as well.

I for one, use to take atleast 2 kms ride before finalising something. My experience says,Yamaha showrooms have the best Customer satisfaction level. I have tried in 4 different showrooms and was never disappointed.

Even for me too, the showroom guys(Royal Enfield, both in Kerala and Coimbatore) were nice. i was allowed to take test ride with no distance limits.and that too solo...
i rode each bike for some 4-6 kms..you have to ride for atleast 3-4 kms..then only you will get to know the bike...

I too was in the same dilemma bro, left out P200NS MAINLY due to its mileage of 35kmpl and its Fit and finish(every P200NS I see on the road make a lot of krr-krr noise as if all its screws got loose, believe me its Damn irritating).Though P200NS is a great VFM though I have left it still I get butterflies in my stomach when I see it in my college's parking lot.
I didn't get a chance of being a pillion on both the bikes[emoji14] . As got a TD barely of 4kms.
I heard that NS200 has stiffer suspension(among the Pulsars) didn't heard anything like that for the Gixxers suspension setup.
Both will be equally good in the city.
P.S: The P200NS don't have rubber claddings on the rear footpegs so in rainy season it will be more Slippery whereas the Gixxer has rubber claddings on the foot pegs.

exactly..me too in same situation,worrying about Bajaj's strange sounds after two yrs..but NS owners have said that initial batches of NS has some defects( though NS is the best built-quality pulsar compared to older ones) ,,but they say that later batches were simply awesome..mileage of about 35-40 is ok for me.. owners say that if we maintain our bike well..there wont be any krr krr sound in NS.. and pillion seat is not so comfortable in Gixxer - i heard. is that true ?? what about suzuki ASC

Only reason for that noise is dust and muck in chain.
Clean chain regularly and off it goes.
3 yrs and 26k kms do let u know a few things about the bike.

yup..let me know about the city ride,height comfortability..I'm 5'8 and 60kgs..lean.. and most imp is pillion comfort (both single side and double sided for ladies)..what about bajaj service brother ???

Better than Dukes but definitely not among the best in the market.
for 5'8" you should check the saddle height too. It might not be very comfortable for you.
It's good for cities and highways. Just a slight increase in number of gear changes than any normal 5 geared bike.

In europe they have a license system. So essentially you have to start on a 125, then grow to a 250 and so on and so forth. Here in India, there is no such requirement. So we don't recommend used. However if you have 0 experience, we do recommend getting a used 125cc and then practicing.

I have a Suzuki ASC at my place, C.G Suzuki the people there are quite interested to sell the bike unlike the Bajaj ASC where I myself had to enquire about the bike and they were least interested to sell the P200NS instead they were pushing me more towards the P150.
I had read that Suzuki Customer Service is really good if any SVC is not helping you only a complaint on their website is enough for that SVC to be well enough next time.
If 35kmpl is OK for you then don't think much about it and go for P200NS.
