I had read that Suzuki Customer Service is really good if any SVC is not helping you only a complaint on their website is enough for that SVC to be well enough next time.
If 35kmpl is OK for you then don't think much about it and go for P200NS.

Don't worry it will be equal for both the bikes.
So in just 10k over Gixxer you will be getting
      Liquid cooling
Rear Disc, Bigger front Disc(than Gixxer)
      Clip ons
      Better Headlights
Bullet proof Engine which is now tried and tested.
      Lastly 3 spark plugs.[emoji14]

I didn't get a chance of being a pillion on both the bikes[emoji14] . As got a TD barely of 4kms.
I heard that NS200 has stiffer suspension(among the Pulsars) didn't heard anything like that for the Gixxers suspension setup.
Both will be equally good in the city.
P.S: The P200NS don't have rubber claddings on the rear footpegs so in rainy season it will be more Slippery whereas the Gixxer has rubber claddings on the foot pegs.

I think that the 200NS will have a bit better pillion comfort because its seat is less sloping as compared to gixxer's. Also Bajaj may compromise a bit quality to keep the cost low on their motorcycles which results in shorter life of motorcycles and the parts wear more than they do in japanese motorcycles.

        And a bigger engine.

I want to know do the 3 spark plugs really make a difference ? If it was like this then japanese would have discovered it and implemented in all their engines, I guess one or two at most is good enough. (correct me if I am wrong)

There are mixed opinions about it some says that its a marketing gimmick.
But Bajaj says that the added Spark plugs are there only for better combustion i.e lesser emissions.
So no performance can be expected from the slave spark plugs except lesser emissions.

Need an overall reliable package and good aftersales services. Any suggestions on which would be a better buy?
After-sales Service would be more or less the same on both as the company marketing them is one and the same. The specs too, differ for both these bikes not more than 1 or 2 units. So the only difference You Need To Consider is:-

                  1. Cost of upkeep, which i feel would be higher in KTM. (Check threads to find parts that need to be changed at specified intervals)
                  2. Gear ratio.
                  3. Posture.
                  4. Convenience of use FOR YOU (dont take other's words for this unless the person is same body type and fitness as you), in traffic situation.

Test Drive a friend's bike to find more. I say friend's bike because i experienced KTM showroom staff allows really poor test drives.

Not purchased, but extensively searched recently for a nephew at CredR. And what i noticed was that the Site is flocked with Used bike DEALERS more than individual users, and you can tell the difference usually by:-
The location of person specified in address (as a localite you may be able to tell areas which would definitely be a dealer than an individual)
The pictures posted (in case of dealer usually same picture for Same model but different instances and prices)
                  and so on.

The point being, it would be more reliable to get a bike from an individual rather than a dealer who would be in more probability of misleading.

True I was also searching for a colleague. The bikes are all dealer bikes and it seems like the dealers themselves have certified the bikes (very convenient). I have seen some of these startups in the used automobile sector claiming certified products are mostly shams and alot of the vehicles come up with defects even though they claim to be thoroughly checked. Best is to go with a local mechanic or better yet do a bit of research on how to check the vehicle performance (Alot of videos available on youtube).
