Help to buy Used thunderbird

Hi Frnds

Please help me with this and Let me know whether the price quoted is worth or not.I live in bangalore and all these bikes are in bangalore

I spoke to 3 thunderbird owners and the following are the rates they told

1. 2004 Model, Silver color, single owner,60 k KMS done, expecting 55k.(Dint see the bike,but the owner says he can give the entire service records and sounds genuine)
2. 2005 Model , Black color, 32 k kms done(as per odo says owner), expecting 60 - 65k, single owner (yet to see the bike, saw the ad on net)
3. 2005 Model, single owner,silver color, 15 k KMS as per odo(?????),expecting 75 k(Oouch). Lot scratches in the tank.


How much these bikes are really worth??? whats the market price for them in bangalore ?????

Don't even bother man. Way too expensive.

Do you mean to say all the above 3 deals are too expensive. My budget is 55-60k which includes for any repair if any.

Can you tell me what kind of bike i can expect for my budget.

new enfield electra or classic 350 or electra 5s post 2005

1. new electra EFI, or
2. classic 350, or
3. electra 5s (post 2005) (has to hav uce or ci engine).

this will be my first bike, and i plan to have more off city ride.

UCE i recommend

Please stay away from CI bullets :

1. If you really don't love them and want one just for show off.
2. If you don't have time to spare for it's maintenance and care.
3. If you don't like the idea of low quality (sometimes expensive) spare parts.
4. If this will be your primary and only mode of transport.
5. if you get frustrated with small niggles in your bike.

If you have patience,passion and love , then you may go ahead with CI.
UCE have lesser issues in comparison to CI.

Last thing it will take some time for new rider to settle down with bullet but once you are you will not go elsewhere.
