I do agree the St3 is a good overall bike.It would be perfect for street riding .I am gonna go and have a look at the St3 in person.Street triple looks amazing too.Regarding the 800 I did go through some websites which said the street triple 800 will only be on display by end of 2016-beginning of 2017

If you are a tourer, you can wait for Versys 650 as well.
By the time you accessorise your CBR 650, it will be ~9L. Think if its worth for a bike that comes with budget forks. Because you are in the ball park of used FZ1s .
