And yes, waiting can be boring and mentally taxing, I did this for ST3R for some time. By the way Street Triple 800 is getting readied, if you need more reason to wait

I cant understand this madness about IL4s, as if all IL4s are made the same.

If you are a tourer, you can wait for Versys 650 as well.

By the time you accessorise your CBR 650, it will be ~9L. Think if its worth for a bike that comes with budget forks. Because you are in the ball park of used FZ1s .
I do agree the St3 is a good overall bike.It would be perfect for street riding .I am gonna go and have a look at the St3 in person.Street triple looks amazing too.Regarding the 800 I did go through some websites which said the street triple 800 will only be on display by end of 2016-beginning of 2017

What do you think about the Daytona 675.Will it be easy to ride on the street?.Will it be a big jump from the ninja 300.

I will not buy Daytona 675 for city riding or touting. Its a track bike. made for that. Its suspension setup, rider posture all are uncomfortable for city riding.
Thats why you have street. If fairing is your thing, sad that they don't have a relaxed bike like CBR 650. I suggest you test ride Triumph bikes.

                    I'd rather have a Panigale 899 than a Daytona.

It would surely be priced close to 14 lakhs

Given that HMSI managed to sell the first lot of 30 bikes within 3 weeks of its launch, and that the subsequent booking numbers have a 2 months waiting period, there is not going to be a price drop anytime soon. Infact there will be a price hike sooner or later owing to inflation.
