You might want to do some market research, but with your budget the Vespa's would be a nice proposition.

2lakhs for a scooter? Get her a bike

Jokes aside, take a look into Yamaha Fascino and Vespa SXL 150cc. With remaining money get her a nice protective gear

Your handle says something else and you have a girlfriend.

Anyways, with your budget it seems you ate looking for a premium Scooty. I suggest "vespa"

        Cheers,

Buy her whatever scooter she wants, and with the remaining money, get her a metallic round shaped object, with a rock on it.

            Go for Vespa or Fascino.
For Vespa, make sure she has a svc nearby to take care of spare and repairing issues.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

              Holy Moly,
2L for a scooter, gosh, she is lucky to have a BF like you.

IMO, Dio is best for all...Looks stylish, decent power and great mileage and easy maintenance. If she likes green, Gift her white-green combo.

Since you want a Scooty, just buy a TVS Scooty.

Thank you for approving. I asked for vespa SXL 150 in few local showrooms, but they said it is not arrived yet. When it will available in Hyd? Or where it is available?

Thanks, She ride bike very stylishly. But it not good to go to office on bike. I am also short listed to these two, but I guess vespa italian style is very attractive. But have to find out where it is available.

Thanks for your doubt, I don't need to prove it here. I don't know what makes doubting you on authenticity of my post I guess spending 2lakhs for Gf? That was nothing when compared to how much she helped me in past. yeah, most guys on forums are very helpful except few people like you j/k.

Its not that you are spending 2lakhs for your GF, its the fact that you kept a budget of 2lakhs for a Scooter. Your GF has nothing to do with this doubt.

So as you have mentioned you live in Hyd, so do I! Yea SXL will take sometime to arrive here as it was just launched. So you must have narrowed it down to 2 options, Yamaha Fascino or Piaggio Vespa

If you ask me, Yamaha Fascino is definitely the way to go

                          [RANT]

I do not understand these type of threads. I never have. I never will.
What scooter should I buy for <insert a female relation>.

Go buy what she wants. Its her who has to use it, not you. Or ask her female friends. Or whatever. You can spend a lot of money, and buy the best scooter on the market, and yet if she doesn't like it, thats money down the drain, isn't it?

Imagine that she has to buy a bike for you. She asks her female friends(who dont know shit about bikes anyway), and they say, with their limited knowledge, that Enfield is best, so she buys you an enfield. Yes you will accept. But in your heart of hearts, you will wish she had asked you, so that you would have bought <xyz> bike with the money.

Same is this case. And guys dont even know what women look for in a scooter. So go ask femina/cosmopolitan, of for that matter, ASK godamn HER. What she wants.

                          [/RANT]

Don't be furious brother, Its good that you came back. I said so because I have seen similar posts in the past which were just for traffic generation.

Spending 2 L is no big deal. Firstly I don't think there is 2L Rs scooter retailing in India. However, you may look for a used Burgman if that is an option. If she is a skilled rider, it will be a better idea to get a bike IMHO.

By the way, Its absolutely fine to say that I am not helpful. I can understand that you are too new on this forum to judge.

                            Any way happy purchase.

                            Note:

Thread title suggests you are looking for a "scooty". Scooty is a brand owned by TVS. TVS dont even have a 1.5 L bike on sale yet let alone a 2L scooter.
This all adds up when people reply.
