My bad, head wasnt in it. 225 to 250, but the question stands. Have you considered the TNT25. Downgrading to an RS200 would not be great. But if you have decided on slowing down, then well thats upto you

My requirements are strictly an ABS machine keeping safety in mind. Even thought of the Duke 390. But all I can afford is a year old machine...

Actually, I was all set for the RS200, but today after sitting on 1 myself, I felt my toes making contact with the ground. Not the entire foot and keeping in mind it's heavy, was wondering whether I am making the right move! Karizma R is rock solid, 13K KMS only. 3 years old! Well maintained.. I just wanted something with ABS.. and equally VFM at the same time...

Not a good enough reason to get yourself another bike. But whatever floats your boat I guess. ABS should not be your primary concern while buying a bike at or below 200cc. The TNT300 or the MT03 or the Ninja300, they all donot possess ABS but people still buy them. Why I mentioned these bikes, is to give you an insight on priority.

Stick with the Karizma for 2-3 more years and save up your cash, get a better and higher displacement bike later on.

Well, even after 2 -3 years more, I won't be upgrading any further. Getting married and anyways no one at home is a bike fan! I have a car too. Hence keeping expenditure for marriage and then more responsibilities in mind, this very well could be one of those last bike purchases...

In which case I would highly recommend waiting for teh TNT25 to launch and then get that. Its a beautiful bike, with adequate power to keep you and your soon to be wife happy for a long time! Yes, its a tad expensive but it will be worth it. (Otherwise go with the RS200)

Bikers are bikers because they go by their heart. If not we would all be driving around comfortably away from wind, rain, heat in Tata Nanos!!!
Thanks for approving my query and for your kind suggestion toom

I did test ride Cbr and it felt smooth. Couldn't test ride R15S as Yamaha sales guy informed me that there is no R15S for testing as it has almost exact engine as R15. So I have to test ride R15 v2 😰

The beautiful handling of R15 cannot be exploited unless you visit track frequently but CBR will keep you happy in both city/highways with those extra ponies and comfortable position. It is also more safer of the two (in case you choose ABS version).
