Wait and test ride yourself. Its between two different segments, so no one can guide you properly, except you alone. Never choose something based on other's claims.
Having own both TVS and Honda, I can tell you one thing- Hondas are unreasonably expensive, when it comes to spare parts, while TVS(even Yahamas) are much cheaper to maintain.

As per overdrive test ride, apache 200 refinement is good, expect less vibrations

Any news on when RTR 200 is going to be launched in rest of the cities. Dealers in hyderabad are expecting in March. That means we might not get a road test of the bike till March.

In Chennai,They are saying the same.Alwarthirunagar TVS Showroom. They are also saying that the ABS Version MIGHT take 3 Months more. The reason for this delay,What they say is that they are continuously trying to achieve better build quality and they wanted the bike to be top notch and very reliable AND they have started production of the bike,They want it in stock all the time.BTW,On first road tests,Many have written the RTR 200 having much better Build Quality,Fit&Finish and attention to detail than Pulsars and Dukes.I am very impressed by the design.Could very well be my first bike next year =) I highly recommend you to wait and get the RTR 200.IMHO,I would go with the top end full option one - Fuel Injected,Pirelli Tyres and ABS.Costs close to an R15 though.

Oh...thats nearly 6 months from now. That's bad news.

I am waiting for a road test and comparison of the RTR200 with Pulsar 220 and AS200 by Auto Journalists. I wish TVS released few bikes to the media, so that the wait is worth it.

The RTR 200 isn't gonna be as comfortable as the AS200/220F as they are tourers more than City Slicking. The RTR is more of a Track+City Combination. Also Power is a bit lower than the AS 200.

I have also heard (while searching for RTR 180 ) that parts are expensive and the worst thing is vibrations. Can you guys tell me your suggestions which bike should I choose ?
I would say wait for RTR200 as it has better feature over Hornet, i rode hornet and checked its braking system CBS which is amazing but i am still waiting fir RTR200.
I am honda fan but this time decided to go with RTR as honda is not doing great with engine as using old unicorn engine in hornet, at least 200cc was expected.
For city ride as well as highway RTR200 will be a BOOM , i do not like rtr old design like in 160,180 but this one is quite different and coming with mono suspension with 130 rear type with Pirelli type as an option, the bike looks better than hornet so worth a wait.

I am a Honda fan myself. I have an Aviator with CBS and its CBS part was extremely unimpressive. So at the time of buying Hornet, I took exhaustive test drives of both variants and decided that CBS was a dud.

I think Apache has a better braking capacity than Hornet CBS. I think Hornet non-CBS has better braking capacity than Hornet CBS.

But I'd still go with Hornet for:
                          - Quietness
                          - Suspension
                          - Spares availability and costs
                          - Overall Reliability
(I made this choice a few months ago myself, chose Hornet over Gixxer, FZ, P220, Karizma and RTR200)

This is again just an opinion, nothing quantifiable.
